this is perfect for my small counter space. Microwave works great! Comes in cute colors. I got the red one.

Effective & compact (but not tiny), easily fits my standard microwave dishes. The controls (light black on the red surface) are very hard to read as there is no color contrast - I've sort of memorized positioning but will shortly affix my own readable labels. Small price to pay for a very economically priced but powerful enough microwave. I've tried it out with my favorite meals which all cooked in the amount of time it should take. The controls themselves are awkward, different from the norm and slightly unintuitive, but I'm getting used to them and it's now easy to program. The major negative of this transaction was Amazon delivery which is just horrid. They refuse to deliver to my apartment door and instead leave expensive purchases in the open lobby where anyone in the building can grab them. I'd love it if Amazon would fix THAT!

I wasn’t too sure at first, in fact I actually opted to return it before i gave it another look. My problem was that i could “barely make out the black text on red after setting it up in my kitcnen. My first reaction was frustration, followed by disappointment, then anger. I immediately made arrangements to return it on that Friday, but decided to put it off to the following Monday.I moved it to another location to give it another look and try it out. I found myself very impressed with a the quick warmup option where you simply push the dial for 30, 60… seconds to minutes which was so convenient, that it got my attention. I tried other options and i loved it. A quick trip to the hardware store for some counter lights solved my problem and i kept the microwave which is now a great addition to my busy life.

Before the laundry list of complaints, let me say I like it, and I'm keeping it.The first thing on the negative side is the writing is tiny black letters on a dark red finish. I actually had to put white gaffer tape on the front with marker to say what the controls do. If you are over 12, you will likely not be able to read what is written above the buttons.Secondly, it is not nearly as powerful it seems, as the one it is replacing. So it takes a lot longer to do the same jobs.What is interesting, is that my older more powerful microwave, which took up WAY more room on the counter, would always cook a portion of everything I was defrosting, which I didn't like. Although this one is way slower, and it auto-stops about 60% of the way into the time for you to check it and turn it over, and hit the start button again, when its defrosted, its perfect for cooking.It is worth the extra couple of minutes.Also, it looks great. People have actually stopped to look at it and one guy took a picture to get one for his wife.So it has a small footprint on the counter, it defrosts slowly, but well, you have to find a way to mark the buttons so you can read them, it looks great, and its slightly under a hundred dollars. For a home with one or two people it makes a good choice.
