It works to relieve the neck
I'm a tenor player but double on baritone, alto and tenor/alto duals. After 60 years of this my neck said 'Stop' so I had to find a harness. The Neotech Super is affordable and works as promised. I also wear a separate strap for playing alto, soprano, or tenor/alto duals, with the tenor on the harness. At rehearsals I usually just play tenor so I don't use the harness which resides in the baritone case. However, if I did have a gig that was all-tenor, I probably would use the harness. One thing I require on any strap is a non-metal hook (to preserve the hook ring on the saxes) with a safety of some kind so it cannot possibly drop the horn. The reinforced polymer hook on the Neotech with its spring plunger is quick to operate and seems foolproof. Even though I'm not tall, I ordered the XL size on the advice of others, but now I think I should have got the regular size, which I probably will soon. I play a modern baritone that rides higher on the body and requires a strap really not much longer than the tenor. What I find with the XL is there is much more length on the strap than I need even for bari and I also had to cut quite a bit of excess off the side straps. Still, if you're 'regular'-sized but play a vintage bari that requires a longer strap, you might still need the XL. Be that as it may, the fundamental question of comfort with this harness is answered. It represents freedom from pain which for me has translated into new-found concentration on what I'm doing and less fatigue on longer gigs. In short my playing is better with the harness, so I'll be using one from now on.Update: I did get the 'Regular' size and it was the thing to do for me. Also once you get the side straps adjusted, it is easy to put on and take off without unhooking the side straps.

Works better for some anatomies than others
For reference, I am a 5'3", normal weight female playing an alto sax.Very comfortable. Definitely redistributes weight. It makes a big difference in comfort and stamina. I feel little to no weight on my neck. It's awesome! I have two major complaints, however:1. The harness rides up high, which can be very uncomfortable for a person with breasts. Kind of like an upper-body wedgie. It fits strangely over some of my bras. Hoping I can adjust and work this out over time. Perhaps I'll need a designated sax bra LOL.2. The harness does not have much room between the hook and the chest. By that I mean, it keeps the horn very close to the body. You cannot hold the horn out like you can with a neck strap. I personally need to be able to hold the horn perhaps 6-8 inches away from my body to keep my wrists in a neutral position that does not exacerbate my tendonitis. I did, however, jerry-rig it with an extra strap and I can now say that my wrists and neck are both comfortable.I would say that this harness would likely be excellent for a non-obese man or a child. I probably wouldn't recommend it for someone with D-cup or larger-sized breasts.

Super pain relief
This really works. Removed the stress from a tenor sax pulling down on your neck to now replacing the load to each shoulder.. Works fantastic, I can rehearse /practice longer without fidgeting or taking breaks.. Its sturdy. Easily set up.. Think I'll go practice some more

No neck pain
This distributes the weight and decreases neck pain with the Barritone sax so that’s perfect

Needs more padding
Using this on a bari sax. Neck is comfortable, but I had to get extra pads for the side straps.

Ok for tenor, not for bari sax
Bought for son's bari sax use. The weight of the sax and position cinch mechanism is held directly on the shoulder pad, so when he shortens it to raise the mouthpiece position, the shoulder pads got pinched together and the pads started to cut into his neck and was uncomfortable. Also when trying to adjust bari playing position from side holding to more front holding, the only way to do it is you readjust the harness lengths, or let the shoulder pad slide lopsided. This usually resulted in dragging his shirt along with it, causing bunching clothes and uncomfortable. Also plastic clip is not strong enough for bari as when he hold onto bari single handed while turning page, etc, he can see the clip flexing (probably ok for tenor and alto). Didn’t think the clip will last very long with bari use. So we returned it.

Excellent, a neck saver.
It is a life saver. After visiting a chiropractor for my wrist, he became obsessed with my neck. I have a bulging cervical vertebrae exactly where a neck strap goes. After a Fall of college marching band I decided I needed to upgrade to a decent harness. I have not tried any others, but for tenor this fits perfectly for me. It is so comfortable, especially if you have a collared shirt. The stitching can be somewhat abrasive if you are moving a lot while playing, and horn moves are really restricted. But, if you are using it for a concert setting, it is perfect. Wearing it under a blazer hides it well, and the only real negative about it is the price, but it is worth it.

Love the Idea
I really like the harness for Tenor and larger saxes to keep the pressure off my neck. However, I am over 6 feet tall and this one is not suitable for a tenor sax as it is too long. the measurements given are best suited for the type of saxophone but not clear in the description. This one is better suited to a Baritone or Bass Sax. You have to try them on and see what works for you. If you have extra money check out the Vandoren Harness. I will be giving it a try as well.
