Q: Does this product require tub draining/ refill after its use? Is the tub water toxic?

It requires you to drain it and you need to wash it down to get scum not to stick to the side of the tub as you drain it. I am not sure if the stuff is actually toxic but it is pretty strong. I had to open a window to help vent the room while i was using it. THIS IS A GREAT PRODUCT FOR CLEANING THE JETS! You should do it at least 2 times the 1st time you use it and then do it once about every 6 months.

I've used the entire bottle of Tub Jet Cleaner and I still have material coming out of the jets. I would not recommend this product. My daughter-in-law used a product she bought at Menards and was a granular product. She can't remember what it's call buy I'm going to Menards to check on what they carry. She only had to use it twice to see results.
