This plates and bowls set are great upgrade from our usual dinnerwares. I love the look and design of the plates and looks very classic to me. It’s medium weight, just the right weight for me because I don’t like lighter plates too. The size is perfect for me and everything that I want for a plates and bowls set is here. Also this is a great gift idea for newly weds.

Love these dishes. They were exactly as I expected!

Really like this set, we put got it for our guest kitchen. It comes securely packaged in what looks like a box from Italy, however it's made in China. The plates and bowls are beautiful, easy to wash, pleasant to use, and of good sizes. Thinking to order another set, however these are a bit pricey for only a 4-person setting.

This is a beautiful dish set! They all seem to be of very good quality and look stunning. They cleaned well in my dishwasher, but I haven't tested them in the microwave yet. They have a good weight to them and seem to be very sturdy as well. I really like this dish set!

Beautiful dinner set. Plates and bowls have a little weight to them, so they do not feel cheap or too thin. Perfectly glazed, leaving a round circle on the bottom pure to allow for a solid placement of the plate or bowl not allowing it to slide or slip. Dishwasher and microwave safe, and cleans very easily by hand. Beautiful touch to your farmhouse kitchen dinner table.

I got this 12-dish set--4 bowls, 4 salad plates and 4 dinner plates--for my daughter, and she can not shut up about them! The quality is apparent from the design and the heft. The bowls are deep, which is so important! The colors are neutral and can be easily matched with other dishes and/or your decor. They have a beautiful finish which makes me confident they will last. My daughter could not be happier, and neither could I! I highly recommend these dishes!

This stoneware set Is beautiful. Upon opening the box, I was impressed with how well everything was packaged, not a single chip. I was so worried these would arrive broken. Kudos to factory packaging team and the courier delivery team for making this happen. I got the beige spiral, the color is exactly as shown in listing, easy on the eye and can match pretty much any home decor, and I like that the entire dish has the same design and color throughout, not just on one side like many others brands. The bowl is nice and deep, wonderful for soup or cereal. I use it for potato chips so that I can control my portion, otherwise I will easily eat the entire bag in one sitting. As well, the fact that they are dishwasher and microwave safe make them very practical for every day living. I cannot comment on their durability yet, but they seem to be very well-made and strong, I am confident that they can survive our busy and at time chaotic household for years.One reviewer mentioned “ the base on all of these where they touch the table are not glazed and is a very rough finish, which is super odd….” Well there is nothing odd about that because this is how all potteries are made, glaze will get stuck on the kiln shelves so the bottom of the pieces where they sit on shelves are never glazed. If you find an area rough, just use a piece of fine sandpaper and gently sand the bottom. I do this ALL THE TIME to smooth the edges on all my dishes, so that I can minimize scratches to my kitchen countertop and glass table top when the dishes are pushed around. And the “roughness” has to do with the fact that this set is stoneware which has a coarser grain than porcelain, giving a more unrefined and rough look. So the “roughness” has nothing to do with high/low end, it’s just a nature of totally different materials, it’s like comparing apples/oranges, or cashmere/lambswool.At time of review this set is $100 for 12pcs, a bit on the high price in my opinion; if matching mugs are included then the price would make more sense, so I would wait for coupons or sales for sure. Overall I am very happy with this set.

A very fine quality, hand painted, and rustic/modern classic set, these plates and bowls are a beautiful 4 person set. With a beautiful glazed texture that is smooth and shows of a simple yet elegant dinner set. It is ideal for 2 couples to have a meal.Although the hand painted pattern is very nicely done. And shows a pretty colour and depth. There is an additional "flaw" in each piece, in the form of black flakes that were baked into the finish. And while they don't show ugly or make the set undesirable. It may not be desired by everybody.The set is a thick ceramic. But still relatively fragile. With one of my bowls, and 2 of my plates being broken when arrived. Sometime during shipping. But I still enjoy the set and have glued the pieces together.

I am building myself a complete set of nice dishes because my everyday stuff is practical but ugly. This set is the perfect base for my vision, something sturdy, practical (day for dishwasher safe!) and beautiful. I can add or mix in other colors or styles easily if I want to for large groups, which is my preference, or have a perfect complete set for a party of 4. The quality is very good, the colors are as described, and I am very happy.

This 12 piece set of Vancasso dinnerware is exactly as shown and described in the listing. The dishes were very well packed to protect from breakage during delivery. The package has 4 10.5" dinner plates, 4 7.5" dessert plates, and 4 bowls. The bowls have a capacity of 24 oz when filled right to the brim. Each dish has a spiral pattern that is on the top and bottom of all the dishes. I ordered the beige color and it looks exactly as shown in the listing.The quality of the finish is very good with no obvious defects. The listing indicates that the design is hand painted and it definitely looks that way. Each dish has the spiraling effect as well as darker specs that is unique to each dish giving it a true hand painted look. The finish also feels quite strong and durable. I have washed all of the dishes in the dishwasher with no issues. I have also used some of the bowls in the microwave to reheat items with no issues.These are very nice dishes for everyday use and I give them 5 stars.
