Versatile tool at a good value
I'm absolutely loving this attachment. I've used it three times now (onions x2, cheese) and have had good results. It feels sturdy and none of the components really come across as fragile. The detachable blades make it easier to store and much more compact. I gravitate toward this over my KitchenAid food processor attachment because it's just that easy to use and way less bulky to use. The attachments did confuse me at first, but once I took my time to understand how it worked it's been a breeze. Great value for the price point, I would recommend.

A safer way to shred
This product was so useful! No more shredding my hands in a mandolin! It fit my Kitchenaid mixer well and was easy to take apart and clean after use. It is one of my favorites kitchen gadgets.

Basically good...could be tweaked.
It does a great job of shredding, just doesn't all hit the bowl! It would be nice if it had a directional "spout" at the end of the shredder so the shredded food can actually go into the bowl.

Love it
Love it! I use this at least once a week to shred a large container of cheese. It shreds it so quickly and clean up is a breeze.

Not sure about the quality or durability. Seems like a knock off.
Not the solid steel shredder attachment that comes directly from Kitchen Aid, but it works "okay". My concern is that it will not hold up as well as the original set of solid stainless steel attachments we got with the mixer, which is what I thought I was ordering. But I needed to shred a lot of cabbage, so ordered this set to use for this recipe. Seller states it will work on many different stand mixers, so I took a chance on it. But it only has thin metal blades that click into a plastic housing. Although it seems to have done "okay" with this one recipe, I will have to review again after I have used it on more shredding or slicing projects. You have to swap out the blades by hand to use the different shredding blades.
