LOVE LOVE LOVE this burner! we've had it for 4 years now & it finally broke down after using it almost daily the past few years of boiling water & cooking many many meals. It worked extremely well with heating up super quickly & not all big & bulky so it fit on the counter top nicely & easy to clean as well! We will be buying another one for sure!

Works well does the job perfectly!

I needed additional burners and this was exactly what I needed. It heats up fast and has even distribution of the heat as well. This works well with small and medium pans but a large one doesn’t cook evenly. Otherwise great item.

Pro:1. It gets hot super fast! This is the strongest feature of this hotplate. I fry eggs on medium level. Otherwise, my eggs get burnt.2. very light to carry3. Nonetheless, stay stable even if I place a stock pot (3 ply stainless steel 5 qt pot) on one side of the coil plate.4. the black metal case is super easy to clean. food that gets dropped in this part do not get burned (however, if you spill food on the silver round plate under the coil, it is hard to clean. try not to fill the pot near to the rim.)cons1. kind of fragile. use it gently.don't do stir fry that may cause friction between the pot/pan and the plate. mine went on strong for 4 months only. after doing a lot of stir fry, it applied stress on some connection and it doesn't get hot as fast.2. two coil plates do not get the same power. left performs better than the right. if you turn on both, the performance is decreased slightly overall. however, i am able to boil water on both simultaneously, even though left sooner than the right.although my first plate slowed down in its performance due to "friction," i bought a second one thinking it will last a lot longer if I used it gently. I have used a lot of hot plates and I don't think I can find any other plate that can get hot really fast like this one.

I like the ability to control the temp, matches my kitchen and very easy to keep clean.

Really good product

I owned the exact same unit, purchased a few years ago. No complaints at all, and it was a workhorse while we took some prolonged time to replace our electric range. Unfortunately, I left a plastic spatula on one of the burners and that was the sad end of a stellar small appliance. But not as sad as the identical replacement we bought. The quality of the build was somewhat cheaper, however, the unit began to turn itself on and off within the first few times of using it as we had decided to make this out go to for the most simplest of stovetop activities. Then the little white markers on the dials began to fade and some eventually disappeared. I rubbed the surviving ones off with my thumb just out of aggravation and decommissioned it immediately.It's a shame that this corporate trend to diminish the quality of their products is rampant in practically anything I buy.As and added note, the stove we ended up going with is also a far cry from our old one. It was eye opening as I have not been in the market for a stove in almost 20 years. Good luck with your purchase if you choose to pull the trigger.

My package was lost randomly. I had to get a refund then a week later it showed up on my porch out of nowhere. The product is light and feels like it is made from cheap materials. To boil water you need to use a quart sized pan. It will boil nothing over that size. I've only used one burner at a time so I'm unsure if one burner gets hotter than the other. There's no way to remove the burner coils so you have to be extremely careful to not drop anything under them, because it's nearly impossible to clean out if you do. Product showed up 2 weeks late, but I got a full refund so I guess I cannot complain that much.
