Good controllers, the buttons work fine. The sticks are good, too.

I had these for two years before they both stopped functioning! Considering I bought these for 15 or 16 dollars at the time, I find that extremely worth it. Of course, I would have wanted them to last longer, but as I primarily used them for spare controllers for other friends, they were phenomenal. The feel of the controller was spectacular when you held it. All functions worked properly with some minor inconveniences. The analog sticks had caps that would sometimes come up when handled aggressively. This was a bit annoying because the grip on the caps was important. That and the fact that the controllers just stopped working (albeit after 2 years) yielded a 4/5 star rating for the quality of the material. Overall I gave this product 5/5 stars because the controllers lived out the purpose of what I intended them to live out.

I would give this 3.5 stars if the rating system allowed it, but since I can't, and don't feel that it's fair to round down, I've given it four.First of all, the good. You get two GameCube controllers for an affordable price. The triggers feel ok, and the left analog stick feels decent for the price. The ergonomics are nearly identical to an ordinary GameCube controller, and, from a distance, one probably couldn't tell a difference just by looking at it.That being said, these do have some flaws. The materials are noticeably worse quality than an original GameCube controller, so it feels very cheap and plastic-y; I ordered the black ones, and I can even see what appear to be defects in the shell, possibly from the mold itself. The controller has no heft to it whatsoever--it's probably mostly hollow--and the grips feel like they might be slightly smaller than a regular GameCube controller (although that could just be how it feels because of the lighter weight and cheaper plastic), so it really doesn't feel good in my hands. The buttons all feel cheap and plastic-y, and also quite stiff. The B button feels awful, like it can barely be pushed at all. For these reasons, I'm a bit worried about durability; should either develop any issues, I'll update my review.Overall, for the extremely affordable price, these are ok if you need a GameCube controller for the GameCube itself or for the Wii, and can't get ahold of one that Nintendo themselves rereleased with Super Smash Bros. for Wii U or Super Smash Bros. Ultimate. Those two options aside, if you're looking for a GameCube-style controller for the Switch, I'd recommend the one from Power-A before getting this one and an adapter.

Going to give you a very honest review of this controller.. first let me say that I purchased 2 of these to use with my first generation wii which has the GameCube controller ports.. and I had no point of reference as far as GameCube controller.. because I’ve never had a GameCube or used a GameCube controller before... so I had no great expectations or low expectations for that matter.. as long as it worked what do I care.These controllers work perfectly and the quality is good for the money if you ask me and I’m sure nothing feels like a authentic Nintendo GameCube controller... but if you’re like me and just need a GameCube controller for your Wii? I highly recommend this controller.I wish I got 4 instead of just 2 but I’ll most likely purchase 2 more.I won’t get into too much details here but this info could possibly help others make their decision.1) works with GameCube games2) works with wii games that support a classic controller3) works with the Nintendo virtual console games4) works with every home brew app that I usedGreat little controller that’s worth the money.. I will add that I’ve had mines for a little over a month I guess (maybe 2 months) so I haven’t beat them to hell yet but I’ve gave them a pretty good work out and they’re handling very well.I liked them so much I actually emailed the company to tell them..My review was honest and based obviously o my own needs. I will end this review by saying some die hard competition gamers will probably find some issue with the controller but even they would have to agree it doesn’t what it should do and that’s work on your Wii’s GameCube ports.My one minor beef was the cords are short but I purchased a cheap extension cord from Amazon which worked and solved that problem.

UPDATE: Customer service was VERY on the ball about reaching out to me right away once they found out I had an issue. I do see a LOT of these review updates on here so it seems that they are aware that these controllers are cheap and some of them will end up being duds, but they are more than willing to replace them right away if a bad one is sent out. That may be a turn off for some people but to be honest, I am buying on a budget here otherwise i would have spent WAY too much of the official Nintendo version. Since I'm relying on a more cost effective off brand I understand that there may be a lower quality involved with that item. Most companies I've dealt with on Amazon that sell cheaper or off brand items will leave you stuck with something that doesn't work and basically say "well you get what you pay for". This is the first company I have dealt with that is more than willing to throw as many controllers at you as it takes to fix the problem and that is really cool! 5 Stars for customer service alone!My buddy got a Switch for Christmas so i bought him 2 of these so that he could play Smash Bros. One of them works fine with no issues but the other one does not function AT ALL. I tried EVERYTHING to get it to work and I even plugged it into my Gamecube to see if it worked there. and NOTHING! I am trying to find contact info for the seller to see if anything can be done to replace the non working one. Other than the fact that we were all disappointed that we couldnt play with both, this was still a good purchase and would have been a 5 star review if not for the defect.

I really like these controllers, they came in cute and safe packaging and they work super well. I really hope they last long! Also totally worth the amazing price.

Mi control original funciona pero quise buscar nuevos antes de que el control muera y me quede sin control. Estos controles nuevos se sienten cómodos y casi igual al original. Si acaso, pienso que los botones y palancas son un poco más duros, pero igual se sienten muy bien al tacto. Los probé con un juego de Gamecube corriendo en el Wii. Funcionaron bien desde el momento de conectarlos y empezar el juego. No se necesitó configuraciones extras del Wii ni nada.

The price is fine. It’s the quality that was paid for. It’s got loud clicky buttons which don’t really hinder from gameplay; it’s just a little odd if you’ve used an authentic gamecube controller in the past.The Z is much more clicky than the original. When pushing it in, it gives off a noticeable sound. The analog triggers are fine and can vary on the controller you receive. The controller sends the input fine, but the iconic click that the original triggers have off are noticeably missing.The quality of the plastic is clearly cheap and probably won’t last over 1.5 years of constant use. I high recommend being gentle with them and not have any aggressive playing with them, they’d probably fall apart faster.For a controller pack that includes x2 slick black controllers it’s not bad at all. For the cheap price, it’s a pretty good substitute for an official controller. It functions with GameCube adapters and has analog triggers. If you have the option to get ahold of an official GameCube controller maybe use your money for that instead.
