We had a Hamilton Beach grinder for years, but the thin cover broke long ago. It recently quit working. We wanted another Hamilton Beach grinder to replace the good one we had. This is far superior to the old design. The cover is much sturdier. The machine is far quieter. It is also much better for controlling how small or large you want the grounds to be. We find we use far fewer coffee beans with this grinder because of the way we are able to grind them better, having more enhanced flavor and great control over the size of the grounds. Between saving money on coffee beans and the fact the price hasn’t gone up that much over the years, we are very pleased with the value, durability, and overall performance.

Maybe the perfect everyday grinder in terms of convenience and performance. I love the markings for number or cups made and the selection dial on the bottom it cuts down on the math needed. The removable and easily cleaned compartment is minimal. The one touch grind takes guesswork out of the timing. Lastly it looks good, kind of like a camera lens. This is the everyday grinder you need. The only thing that could be better is the cord could be longer but that’s minor.

Love the new coffee grinder. My previous Hamilton Beech lasted over 10 years with everyday use (cant find anymore). I loved my old one so much I gifted a similar model 3 years ago to a friend. This new design has larger capacity, stainless grinder as opposed to plastic and very quiet operation. The different settings allow more accuracy than previous model and push down cap to start is simple and quick. Easy to grip and well constructed. Only draw back, it no longer comes with a cleaning brush. Luckily I kept my old one, however cleaning out coffee dust is easier with stainless. Highly recommend for coffee lovers!

Probably the quietest coffee grinder I've ever used. I have no hesitation using it early in the morning while other people are still sleeping. Nice and sturdy, smooth operation, has adjustments for different grind settings, it doesn't hold a ton of beans, but plenty for an 8 cup French press.

This was a replacement for my ancient Mr. Coffee grinder. I’ve only had it for a little over a week but so far it’s been great. As you can see it’s substantially larger than the Mr. Coffee grinder. The removable stainless steel grinder basket wasn’t something I thought I needed but turns out to be my favorite thing about this product. I find the grind to be a little inconsistent with a coarser grind on top of a much finer grind, that takes a little effort to scoop out, on the bottom of the grinder basket. It took me a time or two to find the right grind for my taste but once I did I get a consistently good pot of coffee with just one touch. The grinder feels substantial and it’s much quieter than its predecessor. With the stainless steel cup, it also feels like, there’s less chance of microplastic making its way into your coffee. It definitely feels like it’ll give years of good service. I’d give it five stars if the power cord wasn’t so short. You can wind it up for neater storage but I’d gladly trade that feature for a longer cord.

Nicely designed, highly functional kitchen tool. I like the large capacity (meaning I need grind only every third day). The removable and easily wiped bowl. The capacious lid for dumping the ground coffee into. The numerous grind options including manual and auto (I can push it once and do something else, nice). Relatively quiet, don't need to plug my ears. Usable for dry herbs. Compact, attractive shape with a wrappable cord that takes a minute to put away, but reduces chaos on the counter. Glad I read the Amazon reviews on this and other models to make a choice. To me, this grinder is definitely worth the premium over the less expensive models. They look fine fwiw. But I don't mind spending more for something I want to keep for years to come, and won't hate every morning. I would not have needed a grinder if I could still get ground decaf at Costco.

Works well and so far no issues. The cost wasn't to bad for a entry level of grinding your own cup of joe. Easy to clean, use and understand. Good amount of grinding features and will be using this to grind my herbs in the future as well. It's small and compact while keeping it simple and sleek.

Settings are straight forward, from percolator grind to espresso. Much quieter than others I have used. Automatic push and run gives consistent results every time. I even recommended it to my ex wife!
