Update 11-04-23- at bottom of review
I just got these in the mail today. Dropped them on the wireless charger, got them to full capacity and set them up. Easy enough to pair, had to remove the little stickers over the ear bud charging contact, but then good to pair. The app was easy to set up. Has a familiar hearing test set up to fine tune the EQ for my screwed up hearing. Swapped the really tiny rubber ear bud plugs to a larger size to fit. Then fired up my music app. I was pleasantly surprised! They sound great, much better than expected! Look, people complaining about lack off bass need to realize what they stuck in their ear! For wireless ear buds, these have more than adequate bass. Great mids and highs as well. Happy with the sound quality!!I listen to old (& not so old) rock, some metal, hip hop (before it turned into whatever these kids today call hip hop), mellow "office music" all the way to singing bowls for meditation... these seem great right out of the gate. You see I got these during Amazon big deal days for about half off, $50 or so. They were gonna be back ups for my Jabra ear buds. I used to use some old Sony extra bass wired buds that cost 20 bucks 10 years ago ( the sound on those were really good for my eclectic audio preferences) as my back ups. However the new cell phones don't have a 3.5 mm plug, so I needed an extra pair of wireless when the main ones are Recharging. As of today, I can see these being in the mix with the main pair! They really sound good and fit nice too. They are comfortable at this point, but alas; I have yet to wear them for hours on end.I cannot yet verify battery life or any other longer term possible issues. I will for myself and the purpose of this review use the statements provided by Anker as true, until proven wrong. At that point, if it should arise, I will gladly return to this review and update. As of today, I would recommend these, even at full price. Unless something catastrophic occurs, I would get these again. I have alot of Anker stuff, chargers, cables etc. and haven't had any issues with those. Seems they are doing pretty good in the ear bud arena as well!Any issues arise, I will be back to let you all know!!!Thanks for reading my review, hope it helps you.UPDATE: These things have been outperforming my $250+ buds everytime. No regrets in buying these. There are still running strong. The ANC is on par with higher end units. Recently flew for a few hours each way: zero (or no noticeable) latency while watching movies- the actors mouth and words match up great. The ANC does its best with airplane noise, but still let's in some cabin buzz. I used an over the ear set of cheapy headphones with ANC in addition to these beautys and no problems, almost no noise. I highly recommend these to anyone looking for a great pair of buds; great sound, great battery life- you charge the case with a wireless charger, nice convenience. They don't fall out with snug rubber tips installed.Better than the numerous "beats" I've tried and definitely on par and outperforming my high end Jabra.Again, you should not have any issues with these at all and will be thanking that random reviewer so talking you into these!!!!Time will tell if these last, and so will I; I'll be back if anything fails on these.

Best purchase I've made
Honestly probably one of the best purchases I've made. Almost perfect for the price. The battery lasts so long I can't even remember the last time I charged it. I charge mine like every other month at most. The sound quality is pretty good. For these smaller buds I don't expect amazing quality like nice cups at home but for what they are I think they sound great. I'm catching a good amount of detail from the music. I mostly use them for playing some games and watching YT videos during my commute. They connect flawlessly to my Steam Deck and Switch. I have used them on my MacBook and Pixel phone. The interaction on my Mac and Pixel can sometimes be weird. You can connect to multiple devices but when the MacBook connects sometimes it just doesn't want to let go lol. I'll turn off Bluetooth on my laptop and then it will reconnect to my phone. I did have to re-pair it one time to my phone after that but I've been going good since. There is an app lets you adjust the noice cancellation, EQ, button functions and other things. You can disconnect from devices in there too. The noise cancellation is decent. For the price and size I'm not going to complain about it on an earbud but if it's your most important thing I would maybe say get a different pair. I use this on the train and I'll still pick up some things but if you are actively listening to music or watching a movie it's pretty good.Overall very impressed. If longer battey life is important to you, I would get this one no questions asked as it has decent enough noise cancellation. I'm not a fan of the overpriced buds from Apple and Google so I think these are a great alternative. I've been using them for over a year now and no issues.

Fit is meh, ANC is OK for price, but Battery Life is Amazing
I've only had these for a week and a half so far, but my first impressions are mostly positive. To preface, I want to admit that I am in the camp of hating that all decent bluetooth earbuds are now the Airpod knockoff "true wireless" form factor. Having to lug a case around is just a pain, and I miss my old necklace earbuds and their convenient neck location of not ever getting lost. You literally can't find the latter anymore, unless you settle for bargain models that sound as good as something you bought at FiveBelow, or dig for old stock on places like eBay.But as far as Airpod knockoffs go, the Space A40s aren't bad. The fit will definitely be make or break for people, and I ended up buying some after-market ear tips to get a better fit, as even the smallest of the numerous included tips felt tight. As for the ANC, it won't blow you away if you've used Airpod Pros or other $200+ earbuds, but for something that doesn't break the bank, these almost completely eliminate white noise, and sufficiently dampen high frequency sounds. Transparency modes are hit or miss, with the Everything-mode actually being pretty close to the "not wearing buds" experience(making it better than ANC off for hearing things), while the Voices-only mode cuts off even moderately low female voices, making it not very useful for hearing people.I'm no audiophile, so I can't tell you how good the quality of music is, but it's definitely good enough for us Average Listeners who don't listen to FLAC files or HD Music streaming services. Max Volume is a bit low, but I made a custom EQ profile to push things a bit further when needed, and that's enough for the rare cases when content is too quiet.Controls are also meh. You have three control patterns to choose from, Single Tap, Double Tap, and Long-press. Long-press works fine for whatever you map to it, but Single and Double Tapping has some conflicts of interest. First off, if you want to change the volume with these, disable Double Tap. Changing the Volume is too tedious unless you can just keep tapping the buds to Up/Down the volume, and you can't do that with Double Tap on. This means that you loose out on most of the other controls though, which is not great. If you don't map the Volume controls though, Single and Double Tap work fine for everything else, like Play/Pause and Next/Prev. Personally, I disabled the volume controls and just reach for my phone's rocker when I need to adjust things. The real selling point for these though, is the battery life! Even when having ANC active most of the time in either full isolation or transparency modes, these lasted me over a week, OUT OF THE BOX. I didn't charge them for the first time until TODAY, after they finally landed on the 1/3 battery indicator yesterday. The case has a huge battery, and even without charging them in the case, the buds easily last for hours on end. So if you can get these to comfortably fit, you could easily fall asleep with them in playing music or an audiobook, and then pop them in the case when you wake-up for a quick top-off before going on with your day.Overall, I'm happy so far. Real test will be when I hop on a plane next week.
