Best Hiking Boots Ever.
I recently moved somewhere with lots of amazing hiking opportunities and decided to invest in some good shoes. Excellent decision. These boots are so comfortable and very sturdy. My feet haven’t gotten sore at all, and they have a really nice grip for more sheer rock-scaling. There’s also a ton of sand here, and they do really well with that too. Bonus if you are in red dirt because it matches the boot color quite well. True to size, worth every penny.

100% Happy
I wore these boots to Iceland in late March and cannot be happier with their performance. I hiked a glacier (with cramp-ons), got drenched at Seljalandsfoss, and then soaked again at Diamond Beach. I stayed 95% dry (the ocean got me good) and warm. There was no break-in period and were actually more comfortable than my "comfy" trainers. They were light-weight and the black style was super versatile- I could even wear them out at night on the town and not feel "outdoorsy." The only complaint is the toe box lost a small bit of the black color, but I was pretty rough on them. I didn't spray them with anything beforehand and can say these shoes were an amazing value. I'm so glad I took a chance on them!

Great quality
Hoping the shoe lives up to the expectation on wet slippery surfaces. Usually wear a size 8.5 but upsized to 9. Great fit - totally rapt. Purchased for traveling to Europe in Feb & wanted something stylish, comfortable but safe & waterproof.

These are surprisingly good boots, especially for the price. Waterproof, comfortable, true to size. They keep me happy on the trail! Worth getting.

Perfect foot protection!
Wore these on a hike inside the Grand Canyon. They’re very protective, comfortable and pretty light. I like how they lace up. They were very easy to put on and easy to tie. They are obviously nonslip which helps in certain spots. A good starter shoe.

Perfect everyday walking shoes
I wear these to walk the dog, go to the store, and everything. Theyre great! Comfortable, good ankle support. I have bony small feet and these are a perfect fit.

Love these shoes!
Waterproof, mudproof, comfortable, don't stain easily, surprisingly comfortable. They're flexible enough to be comfortable and even with all the daily use since Oct. when I bought them, they still look great! Accidentally stepped in mud so the whole boot was covered. Let it dry and brushed it off only to find my boot was still its original color.

Don't want to take them off!
I had no idea what I have been missing all my life. Wearing these on a simple hike totally changed the way my feet and legs work. Well, my whole body works differently. It was a grand pleasure to step and move. I had always thought that good shoes are for the comfort of the foot, but I was missing the point. Good footwear can make your feet and whole body feel better than normal. The sizing was accurate, but then room inside the boot can be altered with sock thickness. At first they seemed to cramp my feet, but that was very temporary. It took less than an hour to feel broken in, perhaps due to bringing them in from the cold when they were delivered and being warmed by my feet. The best way to put them on is to stand, so the feet are spread out to their full width and not in a pointed position, as one does when putting on shoes and socks when seated. Begin tightening from the toe, cinching upward to the ankle. The laces on these are terrific. They can be pulled easily and do not slip back. An important part about standing to lace is that the leg and foot are at 90 degrees to each other unlike when seated and the foot is more in line with the leg. When cinching the laces while standing, the boot top will not be too tight, but will be correct to accommodate walking. You want the foot to be more snug than the upper part. Don't lace it all at once and expect the laces to distribute the snugness for you. Adjust each section individually. They are really cute! I love looking down at my feet. I almost didn't want to hike with them because I didn't want to get them dirty, but I loved getting out on the trail with my dog and going anywhere, even through the mud.Only one complaint. Most shoe bottoms, including these get clogged and impacted. There are a few shoe designers, not Columbia, who make the shapes on the soles so that they expel and shed dirt, leaves, mud, ice instead of retaining it. Other than that drawback, these hiking shoes are a dream, and very fairly priced.
