Start Calligraphy : The Right Way to Write

Starts off with definition, materials and description of nibs, position etc. so that by the time you cover twenty or so pages, you are eager to start practicing. Start just then and when you get elated/ frustrated by the result, pick up the book again. Parents with children 9 to 15 years, should start off their children on a trial acquaintance of the Craft/Art, with this book and felt pen calligraphic pens. People with some extra time or inclination would be greatly benefited, even if they do not take up calligraphy. A book not for readers, but for dreamers.

The book is good but according to small children it is too much theroised it should have contain some more figures so that kids could easily understand.

Useful for beginners but missing font types after practicing the old usual types.

Bought it when it cost ₹98, and a few days later the price was raised to ₹110. Love this book as it's decently priced, plus it it really informative for a book worth less than a hundred bucks. If you're interested in calligraphy, this one is a must buy!

Initially I thought there were some practice sheets in book to improve calligraphy.but it is a sort of deep study on calligraphy. Would it be possible to exchange after 2 months. Actually before yesterday I haven't read this book because of my busy schedule.

I thought it will be full of different styles but it was a guide for how to write calligraphy.

Why would someone want theory for calligraphy.. waste of money!

For starting this art the book is very good i recommend to all beginners and that too for this price.
