More non-Sony lenses, anyone?
It's cheap and it works. I bought the adapter to put an old Takumar zoom lens on my A3000. For an old pawn shop find, the lens isn't horrible, and this adapter works fine to let me use it with my mirrorless. I plan on finding more cheap Pentax glass for this adapter and for my K-1000 film camera.Pros:- Cheap- Adapts your K-mount lenses to your E-mount camera- Permits infinity focus- Simple - put it on the lens then put the lens/adapter combination on the body- Build quality is comparable to other Fotasy adapters (I also own the Canon FD one)- Build quality is pretty good, the lens mounts solidly to the adapter and the adapter to the cameraCons:- Works best with old K-mount lenses that have aperture rings and manual focus- Non-electronic - this is only a con if you require autofocus or electronic aperture controlThere are a couple of things to do to make this camera and any K-mount lens work together: enable "Release w/o Lens" in the camera's options, and get used to setting aperture manually. You can use Auto ISO by setting the camera in Shutter Priority (S) mode on the dial, then setting the aperture on the lens barrel and adjusting the shutter as you like.

Great to use Pentax lenses in manual aperture manual focus mode on Sony full frame camera.
Good fitment, works as advertised.

Works as it should.
Got the right camera and lens for this to work? Then for sure it'll work. It extends the barrel a bit but that's a given when you're adding more onto the lens. Works as it should and I don't see a problem with the durability.

Price is great, not compatible with 3rd party Pentax.
Pretty dang good for 15 bucks. Currently using this on a Sony A7II.Things to note:1. Only works with native Pentax lenses, not 3rd party. Shame, I was looking forward to using some of those lenses. unless I'm doing something wrong.. Example: Sigma, Rokinon.2. Quality is pretty solid doesn't feel cheap to me.3. Tight fit on lenses/camera body, have to put more energy than i expected to mounting an adapter. Feels like it could shave metal off and have it fall onto the sensor. This concerns me a bit for long term use.4. So far no light leaks, not worried about it falling off.I would recommend this product to someone looking for k-e on the fact its very cheap, and does a decent job.Remember folks, this does not work with lenses that do not have an aperture ring.

Best piece of equipment that I have purchased
This find was absolutely FANTASTIC! The price was phenomenal. I have a Sony a6000 but really didn't want to spend a lot of money on different lenses and I found out by a review on youtube/Tony Northrup that you can use 36mm lenses. So I google what type of lens mount for the 2 cameras that we have and found out they were K-mount, I came over to Amazon and search K-mount to E-mount adapter and I couldn't believe my eyes for the price. I figured a) it wouldn't work or b) it would be cheaply made. Neither were the case. It works great and looks to be a quality made product.

Great way to reuse old lenses!
I am very happy with this product. I was looking for a way to reuse some of my lenses from my old film Pentax on my Sony A6000. I figured that the $15 or so I would spend on this would be worth it, even if the image quality didn't turn out super great. I wasn't sure if the adapter would have any negative effects on focus distance or things like that. So far I haven't seen any noticeable differences and the images are better than I could have imagined! Absolutely stunning shots on some of these older lenses. And it's so fun to have the live view, live exposure, and face recognition all still working. The build quality is sturdy. I was worried about it being flimsy like some other cheap adapters, but it's solid. I do have some pretty tight contact on the lens side like others have mentioned, but nothing that would damage my lens or anything. My only real gripe (but not enough to drop it a star) is the little metal tab you can see in the product picture that released the lens when you want to take it off. I really have to fiddle with it to click it into the release position, and as I do so I'm almost afraid I'll break it. But over the week or so that I have been using it and actively taking lenses on and off it's gotten easier and no closer to breaking. I'll update this review if it does later.

It Works
Overall, if you take nothing else from this review, the product does work. Tested on a Sony NEX-3 and alpha A5000Pros:- product is functional- it is easy to attach and remove the adapter itself from the cameraCons:- if you have multiple vintage lenses, you will have some trouble swapping them around on the adapter- the fit is not perfect, it can wiggleThe product is very inexpensive, but has not raised any major issues or concerns for me thus far. The fitment to the camera body is a bit of a concern, I fear that it may break off or damage the lens mount on the camera body itself due to its looser fit.Images come out clear and focused typically, though I'm still not any kind of master when it comes to focusing manually on a digital camera.
