It was very easy for me to choose this egg boiler since the reviews were amazing and the price was extremely reasonable. It is better that I talk about the working of the egg boiler rather than comparing it with other products. The best thing about this Kent egg boiler is that it is EASY TO USE( I wish I could highlight this even more to express how easy to use it really is). You just have to follow 3 simple steps to give a healthy kickstart to your day:1) Place as many eggs as you want(1-7) onto the plastic egg rack of the boiler.2) Measure the amount of water(the water measuring plastic beaker is calibrated into Soft, Medium and Hard categories with each category further divided into 1,2,3,4,5 and 6&7 subcategories according to the number of eggs you want to boil) and pour it directly into the metal plate of the boiler.3) Push the power button and relax.The auto cut-off feature will automatically switch the power off preventing your eggs from becoming too hard or bursting open. However, if you leave the boiled eggs in the boiler for too long then the power will turn on again until all the water evaporates.Another important thing which makes this egg boiler a must have is the ease with which it can be cleaned. Usually egg is a kind of thing which comes with an obnoxious smell which must be gotten rid of and hence, cleaning after every usage becomes necessary ( if you don't find the aftersmell of eggs offensive then you can surely use it over and over again without cleaning). Earlier I though that the heating plate cannot be wiped with a wet cloth but one day when I cleaned the plate with a moist cloth I realised that it is not a problem at all. This goes to show the high DURABILITY of the product. I am using this product for the last 5 months and I have not faced a single issue till now.Last but not the least, the value for money quotient of this product is extremely high. ordered 2 of this. very easy to use and durable, heats perfectly but the cap melted some what but does its operation. TThere is no smell or water leakage during heating, overall funtionality is very good and time saving.

Excellent product. Go for it. Other brands may cost you 200 to 300 cheaper but doesn't work. This product is a perfect egg boiler

When I first started using the product, the product's build seemed very good.But after 6 to 7 months the product stopped working. Utill here the product experience was normal.But I was about to experience the WORST here after; the terrible KENT Service experience.When I raised a service request, the KENT's system assigned me a technician automatically, but it was of different city, when I called the service center customer care, they do not have the authorisation to view the list of service centers in any particular city, this thing I tried with 3 different customer executives. Later, my service was excalated to senior associate, even he was unable to view the list of service centers in any particular city. He (service center senior associate) suggested to me contact the "sales team" and affirmed that sales team would have the details of the service center. With lost hope I still called Seles team, and without any surprice, they didnt have any details of any service center. So I am just wandering round and round and round.So why one should pay a premium for a brand like KENT, when the product is of mediocre quality and service quality is pathetic, why should one not go for a cheaper alternatove.

First I rec'd a old and used product. I returned it and asked for replacement. Further after 02 days I rec'd a brand new product. It is working good.

Though egg boiler is useful product, cost is very high.wire length is also small. Other egg boilers are available at much less prices otherwise product is very useful. I have started using it let's see for how long it works.
