I'm not a person who usually reviews unless it's to criticise. But this thing has made me so happy. I had about 20 flys in the house that I could not get rid of! Flying around the fruit bowl and dishwasher. I didn't want to spray poison inside. This thing arrived earlier and one by one I have zapped every last fly that had been driving us all mad. I can't tell you how happy I am right now. It's so worth buying if you have the same problem as I did.

DOA I think. I tried a number of different brands of battery, but none of them got this to work sadly.It does, however, still allow you to swat flies out of the air in a more controlled manner than a newspaper, and with more surface area to boot. For that reason, it escapes the 1 star review but obviously never going to get 5.

It's cheap, and if you hit the bugs right they will get zapped. But it will take a few swings, and it misses the small ones entirely. I'd spend the money on the 'executioner' bat which literally makes any bug explode.
