Felixble, Sturdy, Prceise - An all-rounder
I have been using a Death Adder mouse until very recently. I loved that mouse. But recently it's left button started to mis-fire (which is a very common issue with a lot of DeathAdders). When I was looking for a new mouse, I wanted to try something other than Razer (my previous two mices were from Razer).G502 KORE/SPECTRUM has been getting loads of high praise from reputable reviewers. So really did not have to think too much before opting to buy this.Pros:* Plenty of programmable buttons (11)* Sturdy build quality - unlike Razer* Adjustable weight* RGB lighting* One of the best sensors out there* Good user interface (Logitech gaming Software)* Has 3 on-board prolfiles So your settings would still work even if you plug the mouse into anther computer which does not have Logitech Gaming Software installed.* Dual mode scroll wheel (there are some cons to this, see the Cons section). The FREE mode is very useful for scrolling long webpages or documents.* Snipe Mode - When you hold this button the mouse will temporarily switch to a different DPI. This will allow you to use a lower DPI while you aim down the sights of sniper.* You can use the scroll wheel to scroll horizontally by pushing it to the left/right.Cons:* Button positioning is not optimal, especially the side thumb buttons. On the DeathAdder those button are positioned perfectly. On G502 however it is positioned too far back. They should have moved it a little forward and lower.* The scroll wheel when in 'FREE' mode tends to wiggle when you lift the mouse. This will cause the wheel to scroll up/down due to its on weight when you lift and move the mouse quickly. Also, in this mode the wheel tends to move like a counter weight when you make quick mouse sweeps. Its feel like the wheel is trying to pull you back. You can switch off 'FREE' mode and you won't have this problem.* When the scroll wheel is in LOCKED mode, it does not feel very smooth. Now, DeathAdder's scroll wheel has the perfect resistance.* RGB lighting zones are very limited. Only the logo and DPI indicator has lights on them. The logo will be covered by your hands anyway, so that leaves only the DPI indicator. Should have lighting on the scroll wheel or one the sides.* The cord is too stiff. You will need a cord holder to keep it moving freely.Person likes:* I like the way it moves on cloth surface. DeathAdder on the other hand does not seem to like cloth surface.* Button are heavier than on DeathAdder, so no accidental clicks.Personal dislikes:* The base of the mouse is too narrow. I use palm-grip and I would have liked a more wider base - like the death adder.* If you only use Index and Middle fingers for clicking the buttons and keep your Ring finger on the side, the ring finger tends to rub against the sharp edge at the top. But this is probably because of the shape and size of my hand.* Bit tooo heavy even without the weights???? Probably only a matter of getting used to.All in all: GREAT!This mouse is an all rounder. With a precise sensor, adjustable weight, programmable buttons and DPI shifter, it can perform well on any kind of game, be it RPG or FPS.Compared to DeathAdder:Sensor: On-parErgonomics: DeathAdderFlexibility: G502Build Quality: G502Material Quality: G502Interface: G502Scroll Wheel: DeathAdderMouse Cord: DeathAdderWeight: DeathAdder (very personal preference)Button Positioning: DeathAdder

The premium class of all gaming mouses
Straight to the point -The Logitech G502 proteus spectrum is the rgb version of the proteus core version, and they have the same price. The mouse comes with the PMW 3366 optical sensor which is the best sensor till date .It is a really comfortable mouse for people with big hands and has a transformers shape to it which is jaw dropping. Also , with 11 programmable buttons, it really comes handy in MMO games.Flick shots are difficult in the start with this mouse due to its weight and angles , but can be mastered with practice. It has a braided cable. The RGB lightings are beautiful .The mouse goes well with the Logitech cloth or hard gaming mouse pad. This mouse is the real competition for the Razer deathadder, and it has a really great plastic build quality and textured grip on its sides. I bought the mouse from the global shop, and took 9 days to get delivered with the standard delivery option which is pretty cool.Overall, if u need all the features given above, this is mouse is the way to go.For me, the mouse is a God level mouse and no mouse can ever replace this mouse's reputation.

Probably the best gaming mouse.
It's my first gaming mouse I got for my new Alienware 15 R3.The dynamics of the mouse are amazing! Build quality is good. Long braided cable.Coming for a regular shaped mouse I adapted to the G502 spectrum within hours. I have played games like CSGO, Watchdogs, FC4, BF4, etc. and it largely improved my aim thanks to the easy switching between 3 levels of DPI.The infinite scroll wheel and the RGB lighting is sick! It's heavier than other gaming mice and you can make it even heavier using the extra tunable 3.6 g weights as per your liking. But I think it's probably not for those who lift their mice a lot. The weight of the mice along with the braided cable made it a difficult for me to lift the mice while gaming though I was just testing it. I don't usually lift the mice while gaming. The Logitech software allows customization with the RGB lights and the 11 programmable buttons.Has a 2 year warranty so do register this product when you buy it.Its a pretty expensive mouse I got for ₹5151.Thats because it is probably imported and if you buy it internationally, it will cost you the same including the customs duty fees. But if you dont want to burn a hole in your pocket you could go for the g402 which costs around ₹2500 without the braided cable and with only Blue lighting.

Amazing Mouse!!
This mouse was the second mouse I bought for my desktop computer, and I absolutely love it. It was a massive upgrade from the cheap gaming mouse I previously used. The DPI settings with it can be changed simply on the mouse, which is perfect for what I need it for, whether it's gaming for doing work on my computer when I need to browse my computer quickly. The sensitivity is great, and even greater with a mouse pad. The build quality is amazing and feels amazing in my hand. It allows for any type of grip on the mouse, and the buttons are perfectly placed, and I never have any trouble hitting them when I need to and I rarely ever hit them on accident. By far, my favourite feature is its infinite scroll wheel. It is so useful!! I can scroll through hundreds of pages of any document or cells in Microsoft Excel with just one slight flick of the scroll wheel, and the weight of the wheel, even when using the locked mode, is amazing. Along with that, the weight of the mouse is perfect, not being too light or too heavy. The variable weights that it comes with is a very nice feature for those who want a lighter mouse, but I usually go for the full weight with all of them in the mouse. My last mouse was a clunky piece of metal and was much too heavy and rugged for my liking, but this mouse has an amazing feel and the shape of it perfectly moulds to my hand. I would recommend this mouse to anyone and everyone who needs one for any reason. It is amazing!!!

Well worth the cost
Been using this mouse for about a year now, and i have loved every second of it. For those apprehensive about the price, figuring that youve been using a $10 or $20 mouse all your life and wondering why the premium, its worth it for a host of reasons;Ergonomics. I love logitech gear in general for how comfortable it is to use, and this mouse is no difference. Its a perfect fit for my average sized hands, with all the buttons laid out perfectly where my fingers fall naturally. No contorting to hit ever button, no straining my wrist. This mouse even has a compartment in the bottom to add (included) weights too, to tune the mass of the mouse to fit the way you move perfectlyPerformance. If you enjoy PC gaming at all, a true gaming mouse like this is, well, a game changer. Now, what i mean by 'true' gaming mouse is one with the function you need. Funky angles and lights doodads can give a mouse the 'gaming' aesthetic, but not all of them live up to expectations. This mouse though, it lives up to them. Sure, it lights up, but it also has a ridiculously good sensor that really picks up the tiniest movements, well designed software that allows you to custom map everything the mouse can do to whatever you want it do, plenty of extra keys, though not too many, in perfect locations to hit during gaming. Plus, its wired. If youve only ever used a wireless mouse for gaming, a wired mouse will change your world, something i didnt believe either. Still, the complete lack of input lag will let you pop off headshots that much easier.Features. This one is tied a lot into performance, but the features all do help to increase the performance. Some of the features ive already touched on, like the extra buttons and the tunable weight. Some deserve to be mentioned again, like the benefits of the cord. Also on the list are the aforementioned software, Logitech is one of the only companies ive found that goes for form over function. Theres no fancy bells and whistles, no programming in a complex 20 step RGB light pattern that flashed every time you pop a headshot, but there is a well designed UI that allows you to map the keys on the mouse with minimal effort. Then theres the small touches on the mouse itself, like the fact that it can save your keymappings to the mouse to travel with it, instead of you computer, and the on-the-fly DPS switch that allows you to switch from rapid aiming to slow and precise movements at the drop of a hat. My favorite feature though? This ones completely unique to Logitech, and the reason i can never switch brands of mice: the scroll wheel. Right below the scroll wheel is a handy switch, pressing it changes the scroll wheel from a clicky, line-by-line scroll that ever other mouse has, to a free-scrolling mode. Such a tiny thing, but so, so nice to have.Overall, it may seem like an expensive mouse, but its worth every penny and will likely be the last mouse you ever buy. Give it a shot, you wont walk away disappointed
