1. First of all, never read a better series. The story arc has been amazing. An all time classic. If you're an avid/beginner manga/anime watcher and reader, you can never go wrong with this one. It has the perfect combination of suspense+drama+thrill+comedy. I had heard about it a million times and reading it was even better. The book was delivered to me in mint condition. Plus, I received a bookmark too (Yay!). 2. Reasons to buy the Black Edition: i) Bigger printing so easier to read ii) The 13th book (Death Note Rule Book), as it appears has been incorporated inside the books throughout the series(between chapters). iii) Includes few (beginning) color pages in each book. iv) It costs lesser than the original version, as it doesn't have the cover art I guess (but if u want the art, you can go for the originals edition). However the cover art is included in black and white inside the books. Overall great experience on Amazon and can't wait to complete and review the full series😃.

I'll just tell the likes and dislikes. likes-: Paper quality is better than most of the shonen jumps. The story is amazing. Art was also a 10/10. The delivery was on time. Packaging was great, No damage. It is larger than the normal version. The price is Dislikes-: The cover of the original manga is better.(Black editions are black in color and have a character in the middle. I don't think this is a valid reason though. ;)

Most of the book is in a good condition except for one part

Ever tried to kill some, ever thought if you would, would you kill if you can. Tsugumi ohba has asked it all in this one book to the whole globe . And the replies we gave were... lets say they were out of the blue . This first black edition consists of volume 1&2 of the original series . And the looks are too good to handle , its all in black . Not the pages but all its sides , all six of them. And for those buyers who thing this book is gonna be for kids just because it has picture , it would behove them to read by them selves before giving them to their kids. No adult contents but an ugly truth about life . Besides the art work the art book the story is worth buying it . So just go ahead,buy it

The Death note Black edition have two volumes. The pages are good in quality and most importantly the manga is not fake. Do check each and every manga whenever buying it from Amazon. So, many boot;eg manga's are revolving in Amazon

Very cool color on the book itself full black paint

Great manga. Heard it was good but it was better than expected. Arrived in good condition. Matte finish on the book is an odd choice but feels nice.

Death Note es un manga impresionable, la trama te atrapa y no puede dejar de leerlo. Y el personaje de L es increíble. Todo fan del manga debería tener Death Note.

Chegou super rápido, muito bem embalado. A escrita e a arte são impecáveis! Com certeza irei comprar outras edições.
