This product deserves 5 stars because it works just as described. I was having issues with nail lifting and suspected that it was acetone causing it. This allows me to wear gel nails sometimes and remove them without acetone. I’ve had no lifting since using this product.

I always do my own nails at home. Love using gel polish but dread removing them later as I always had to file them off even after soaking them in acetone. This gel polish remover is amazing and disintegrates the gel within minutes with minimal scraping and without having raisin fingers from soaking in acetone. Only downfall is it feels weird as it works & does burn if it touches your skin but easily washes off with soap and cold water. If you do your nails often, the 2 bottles for $8 is a pretty good deal!

Works if you know what to expect. Here is my experience and tips. The product works better if you file off the shiny topcoat of your manicure first. Make sure to apply enough product. You know it’s working if you first see small bubbles, then the product starts to crack and becomes dull and dry instead of shiny. If not, then you need another layer of product. I needed to wait 5-6 minutes for this process. The Amazon add says 3-5, the bottle says 5-10, I suppose it could vary depending on the thickness of your gel nails. Then I scraped it off using a wooden cuticle pusher. It took a little work because the gel becomes dry not gooey like at the nail salon. A metal pusher might have been faster but a wooded one is what I had at home. I had a couple nails where very tiny spots of color remained. I simply filed them off or scraped it with another fingernail. As for the sensation, I felt a tingling and tightening. On one nail, I had a damaged cuticle and felt slight burning. The sensation disappeared after removal. I would recommend experimenting on one nail first to see if you can tolerate the sensation. Honesty it was not painful just an odd feeling. For me this was a much better and faster option than soaking my finger nails in acetone or wrapping them in acetone soaked cotton balls. I would definitely use again

The product is good at removal of acrylic nails overall if you are tired of soaking in acetone; what you should know - and probably already do, is that it becoomes very sticky after a few uses and is more difficult to use and dries around the cap like glue. I had to use about six coatings on each nail before the nail would lift off. Also the first time I used it i put it around the nail bed and it burned like the end of time. So keep it only on the nail you are removing!

This is the best brand that I've tried thus far! The clear bottle makes it easy to see how much you have and it has a thinner (but not runny) consistency that makes the product last longer than thicker, gritty versions. Even when you don't file off the top coat it takes it off faster than other brands. Filing off as much polish as I can, it works even better. Other brands take forever even with filing. I'm quite pleased with this product!

Works great! Would definitely buy again. Don’t be afraid to be generous when applying. Everything came off quickly and super easy without damaging nails. Had my nails cleaned off and buffed in less than 30 minutes.

I decided to try this gel nail remover because I liked the idea of not having to soak or wrap my nails. The bottle is small but easy to use, and the product does soften the gel polish.However, it didn’t work so fast. It’s less messy than acetone wraps, which I liked, but I was expecting a quicker process.
