Q: Anyone had issues with the cards not erasing?

I haven’t, as long as you erase them immediately after use. If they sit too long they are more difficult to erase but that is true of any dry erase board.

Q: How many players is this game recommended for? Could 2 people play it?

It's recommended for 3-6 but you can easily share markers to go over 6. For 2 people you could use it as a way to get some laughs with each other making puns, but you couldnt really keep score and probably wouldnt do it very long. Best used as a party game.

Q: Is there any inherent reason this couldn’t be played with children? The add says family friendly, but then they say it’s for adults.

Most of the cards are family appropriate, but there are a few adult-ish cards (‘Titles for this person’s sex tape, for example). If your children are mature, or if you want to remove the very few nsfw cards before you play with them, it is fine. I played with 13 and 17 year old nephews and they enjoyed it.
