Bionic Body Workout Bar for Power Lifting Strength Training Home Gym and Cardio Exercise

End hook fell off. Cylinder clamp that holds it in the post malfunction right out the box :( I could not repair it and I’m prett handy.thank god I as not using it. It could have caused injury. Can’t recomend it.

Nearly caused a serious incident. There's no threading or anything holding the bar anchors at each end! The 10ft 20lb band using it with in a torso twist flew out and nearly slammed into a nearby person. Absolutely would never buy again or recommend to ANYBODY!

If you use work out bands like the bodylastics series  Bodylastics Strong Man Warrior Edition System  (which are my favorite) this bar makes a huge difference in increasing the repertoire of exercises you can perform including lat pull downs, rows, chest press etc. The bar is a lot heavier than you would expect and is solidly made. It is not some flimsy plastic tube. My biggest complaint about working with bands that use carabiner style clips is that the carabiners often get caught up with your clothing or rub up against you during exercises which is terribly annoying. My favorite thing about using the bionic bar (which is wider than most people) is that the clips and the bands are away from your body and all you have to focus on is the movement itself. It makes the workout at home almost the same (if not better) than doing it at the gym. I'm now tempted to get the Bionic tri-grip handle next  Bionic Body Tri-Grip Handle Exercise Strap, Black . If you have to choose between the two, I'd get the bar first as the tri-grip has fewer uses compared to the bar. If you use any kind of work out band with clips, this bionic bar is a no-brainer and frankly should be a must-have.

Horrible. Just a time and money wasting product. Has stains and looks used .Impossible to reach the seller about the product also don't buy it

Outstanding exercise bar. I was a little concerned about the "connection point" between the two disassembled halves (i.e., strength). Note that these two "halves" screw together via fine machine threading (vs. course thread) about 15/16" into each other creating a joint that is actually the strongest/thickness point in the assembled unit. However, you need to be careful (and patient) on the initial assembly so you don't cross-tread the two pieces due to the fine treading that is engineered into the joint area. Then after the first assembly, the two pieces go together much easier (at least that was the case with the exercise bar that I received). When assembled, this Bionic Body Exercise Bar is 35.75" long (end of each grip) and has a 38" overall length. Separately a 19.4375" male and 19.5" female piece are used. Overall weight is approximately 3.6 pounds and the padded grips are each about 9.375" long and have a 1.125" O.D measurement. In summary, this as a great addition to my Bodylastics Strong Man Warrior Edition resistance band set-up. Note that I have also incorporated a smaller exercise bar from Mind Body Fitness which is 18" long and has a centered band attachment for any narrow grip exercises.

Very nice and heavy. Solid steel with fine threads to help keep it from coming loose. I pretty much just got this and have used it twice now so I am probably going to update this later. I am pretty excited now because it seems to be very well made and works great with the rubber tubing that I have. I have done bicep and triceps curls and several shoulder exercises and this bar is great. My wife is liking it also for some upper body work. I am planning for this as a great travel workout device to take along for camping. So far I am very happy with this and would recommend to anyone who is looking for using their bands for good exercises with out needing to anchor to a door or something else.Updating , I have had this for a few months now and still thinking it is a great product, I have had no issues and use it several times during my daily work outs. If you us the tubing for your work out then this would be a nice addition for you.

I was a free weight guy for years. As I've gotten older, I've developed joint issues and arthritis, had a couple of accidents that required surgery, etc. Working out with weights has become difficult. A physical therapist suggested resistance bands at home and they have been helpful. But the individual hand grips never feel right. So I thought I'd give this bar a shot to get more of a barbell feel. Gotta say it's better than I expected. This bar has some weight to it. I was afraid it would be just a hollow tube. But it feels solid, good grips on it. Really helps the exercises feel more natural. Squats and overhead press are much better, I feel more stable than with the handles. Big improvement.ETA: The only reason I'm taking off a star is I wish the bar was a little longer but that's just a personal preference. No criticism of the bar itself.

Very strong build. You can use any elastic or stretch tubing with this bar.For those of you who, like me, lack imagination and need some guidance there are numerous videos on YouTube to help you use this for getting into shape and easily maintaining it.The Bionic Body website has a great nutritional section that I found interesting and informative.There are a few negative reviews here about quality and the ability of this bar to maintain its integrity under load. These negative reviews are not at all correct. The bar is really solid.I would prefer to have a bar that is a wee bit longer but this has not interfered with effective workouts at all.If you lack a lot of storage space for gear, this is perfect for you. It breaks down in seconds and fits in a drawer or hangs in a closet.I travel a lot and the bar's ability to break down to a manageable size and its 3 1/4 pound weight make it an excellent workout candidate for air travel. Add about 2 more pounds for a set of six workout tubes and a door anchor and you have a great in-room hotel gymnasium.I have been working out for the past 40 years and have tried a lot of different tools. I find that, coupled with a set of stretchable tubing, this has been my best workout equipment decision by far.

I bought this with the resistance band protective sleeve which I have also reviewed.It has taken me a long time to find a product like this. This is a barbell for resistance bands. It adds a whole new dynamic to your resistance band workout. Your bands have to have clips on the end which you attach to the clips on the bar you can add multable bands to the bar. If you want to travel with it you can unscrew it into two pieces.It is well made and the ends have hand grip wrapped around them.The only thing I would have wanted is a bit more length in the bar.

If you can still get your hands on one, worth every penny. Bar is solid, you can easily attach 150pds of bands to it, no problem, it's solid steel. If you are without a gym during this pandemic and only have resistance bands, this will make a huge difference to your home workouts. Would not hesitate to buy this

Since COVID-19 made it necessary to workout at home, I discovered the many wonderful ways resistance bands can replace gym equipment. YouTube contributors provide great videos on "how-to" use resistance bands, and I'm hooked - so much so, I'm canceling my gym membership. What I needed to help complete my home 'gym' was a bar to add even more variety to the use of the bands. Then this one came along and I ordered it. So glad I did.This is a quality, solid workout bar. Well made and dependable - it won't break from putting resistance on it (at least, I'm counting on it). So far it's holding up beautifully and I'm finding more ways to use my bands with it. The manufacturer suggests using their resistance bands, but I've discovered the ones I already have work just fine. I highly recommend this piece of equipment. Glad I got it.
