Impressive Features at This Price Point!
The Radioddity GM-30 Plus really packs a lot of value at a reasonable price point! For my daughter & son-in-law being new to GMRS (and radio in general) I felt the GM-30 Plus looked like a solid choice and found this to be very true.Pros: Easy to use/navigate functions, good RX/TX audio, sensitive RX across multiple bands including ham, public safety (analog only), weather, etc., GPS location sharing with other GM-30 Plus radios, USB-C charging, easy to read display, 10 zones for memory management, solid 'real' radio feel in the hand...it's just a really good radio!Cons: Only a few little niggles about this radio in my eyes: battery life seems to be a little shorter than I would expect even with settings tweaked to maximize battery life and the fact that when selecting a zone it is tied to BOTH A&B sides of the radio so you are restricted to only listening to different memory channels within the same zone on each side of the radio. Neither of these are deal-killers, but be aware.Overall the Radioddity GM-30 Plus is a very solid & very capable radio that I would recommend to any GMRS user, new or experienced.

They are everything they advertise
The main reason I purchased them was the GPS capabilityThey are everything they said they are. They are easy to program a little bit confusing haven’t been in radios for quite a while.11 the mountain, so the range is somewhat limited because of the mountains in the trees buying and setting up a repeater system for himAll a drawback I found is I need to carry a additional battery pack because the GPS runs the battery down quite a bit

Quality is great
A huge bargain for the price you can't go wrong with all these techno upgrades. Features way to many to explain YouTube channel covers that. Excellent build quality par with more expensive radios. Now don't let all this scare you off because this radio is amateur friendly and easy to use as long as you have the patience of a Saint. Geared to family use , for all ages all though it's is an advanced radio for GRMS. Air bands and 1,000 other channels it's can receive. Mine received a channel 600 miles away.

Excellent GMSR radios !
Though being new to GMRS radios, not only did I do plenty of research which lead me to Radioddity's GM-30 Plus, but even took the steps for an FCC License prior to purchase. The radios were as described and function as they are supposed to. I received them quickly. If you are looking for a quality yet inexpensive GMRS I believe this is the radio you're looking for. I now even have plans to purchase one of Radioddity's vehicle mobile GMRS radios to turn into a home based radio with a roof mounted amplified antenna for a bit more range. I also have future plans to build a repeater tower at some point. And yes, these radios do work with repeater towers. Luckily there is an active repeater tower in the next city over from my town(35+ miles away) that these hand held radios can communicate with. Their battery life is great and the USB C charging plug is very convenient because it's what I also use with my phones and tablets. Their range and clarity is much better than FRS/CB radios which is the reason I started looking into GMRS to begin with. Very easy to use the basic functions of this radio, but there are many other features you will need to research to see how those features would benefit you to get the full experience of the radio.

Pretty impressive
For 30 bucks each, these are well worth it.Radio. Quality voice, as expected. I have the GM30 that I love and these GM30 plus are quite a big larger. They feel solid.GPS. It is a basic GPS feature that must be programmed via their software. It wasn't hard. You can send your location to up to 20 preprogrammed contacts, and request their location as well. It gives a basic compass rose, direction, and distance in meters to the radio location. There is a bug I found in which if you request a location, the radio you are requesting it from needs to be in GPS mode or it will hang up and keep trying to key.User interface. Significantly different from the GM30 and a Baofeng. Not bad, just different. Still pretty intuitive. The radio does 10 different "zones" which could be helpful for repeater use while traveling. Each zone has 100 user programmable channels, again, via their software.Remember, these are GMRS radios and cannot be jail broken. You can listen to vhf, uhf, air band etc but can still only transmit GMRS.Do these have a place in kit? I think so. For 30 bucks there are enough features to warrant it, at least for me.
