GlobMarble Superplasticizer for cement and calcium sulphate based materials, 1 LB (F-10)

Great for adding minimal amounts of water to concrete. I was able to make my own concrete using this and fibers my driveway extension is super strong. Been parking my truck and trailer on it after only 1 week of curing. Zero cracks and I was able to easily mix 1:1:2 using a 3 gallon bucket. I added the 2 gravel first, let that spin in my harbor freight mixer. Then I added the fiberglass fibers and about 2 tablespoons of the superplastizer. I would let these ingredients mix dry for several minutes, meanwhile I was filling my bucket with sand and Portland. I would let all dry ingredients mix for a minute or two. Then I would add the water. I would estimate I was only needing to add 1/2 gallon of water to get a highly workable mix. This was making roughly 150 pounds of dry mix. It was a lot more work then bags but I suspect my concrete is much stronger. Plus I was able to vary my aggregate size. Using some small bagged stones along with bulk 57’s. This made my mix easy to float out.

Tried this in the cement but I think I might have needed a larger quantity of the material.

This superplastisizer additive is a key ingredient to use when mixing the cement, sand, and aggregate for pouring a countertop. Follow the recommended percentages and you will achieve a flowable high strength mixture. Don’t forget to also include fiberglass fibers in the mix to prevent cracking later on.

Not only did this stuff not work but we just received an additional bill from Fedex for $39.70 for shipping fees. Not at all happy with this purchase.

It’s cheaper than gen 3 stuff but doesn’t flow as well. You get what you pay for.
