DIPBROW Pomade

The Anastasia Beverly Hills DIPBROW Pomade is my go-to brow product for keeping my unruly brows in shape. I've been repurchasing this product for almost 10 years. It’s easy to work with, gives great control, and helps me achieve a clean, polished look since I don't normally wear makeup on a regular basis these days. A little goes a long way, and I love how it defines my brows without making them look overly done. It stays put throughout the day, keeping everything in place while still looking natural. It is also easy to remove at the end of the day. The medium brown color matches me perfectly. For the quality and performance, the price feels completely fair. It’s the kind of staple product that makes a subtle but big difference.

This product is the best pomade for the brows you can purchase! The color I chose was medium brown and it looks natural and the color is warm and vibrant. Apply it to the missing parts / hairs on your eyebrows and you are transformed. Beautiful difference!

This is one of those products I keep buying because it’s so versatile. I use it VERY lightly on my brows or as a super light blended shadowy kind of wing on my eyes (not sure if that’s an official use or not). Whatever you do, apply way less than you think you’ll need when using it on your eyebrows. If you don’t, you’ll look insane. (For Seinfeld fans, think Uncle Leo with the Sharpie eyebrows). But if you apply it with a very light hand and blend it with a brush or spoolie, it looks great and lasts all day.

My daughter-in-law recommended this to me as I have always used Maybeline eyebrow pencils for my brows. She told me how much she loved the stuff and that it lasts all day not to mention how natural it looked. I was skeptical as soon as she showed the little container to me and mentioned that it was a pomade/gel. I am in my mid-forties and have oily skin so I was certain this would not be for me since it was a gel. Boy, was I wrong. Since her make-up is always flawless and she keeps pretty current on what is available I thought oh what the heck, and so GLAD I did. It is easy to apply (although) I ordered the Anastasia brush to use it with and it looks amazingly realistic. Even with my oily skin it lasts all day and looks authentic. I do admit I have not wore it with a hat or touch my face very often so I am not 100% certain how this would work or last during intense workouts, if you were a hat, etc. I have already ordered this in Soft Brown too as this one is darker than expected which actually is a good thing I just figured in case I lighten my hair for the summer I will have another option to use as well. Definitely going to be my new go. I should mention that I literally have no brow hair left from years of waxing and tweezing. It does take me some time to apply it as I use the brush to create small upward hair like strokes. So if you use this pomade as just a flat application it may look too harsh as it is very pigmented and thick.
