Wallace Italian Sterling Barocco 5-Piece Place Setting (Continental Size)

We had purchased a set of this pattern some 10 + years ago and have tried to add to it ever since---this pattern is a perfect match, BUT it appears to be a European size, which is just slightly larger and longer--unless you have the new set side by side with our older one, you would never know the different. It has good weight (so it doesn't feel like cheap flatware) and excellent balance---an excellent stainless steel product from a "stand behind it products" maker. Wallace has always been the west flatware we found...and I'm pushing 70 !

Great set. Glad we got them. It comes with the usual "regular sized" fork as well as a "smaller" fork (I suppose for salad or dessert). The regular sized forks are larger (slightly) than most forks I've seen, but we enjoy them! We even use the smaller forks to eat regular meals with, and they are perfect for either scenario (not too small). So in a way, both sets of fork sizes they give you are good for eating meals with.

Nice, quality flatware. Not too heavy or big. Only gave it 4 stars because they need to update the picture. I saw from other reviews that the knife was flat, which was ok with me since my old set was rounded like the pic and it didn't all fit in the utensil compartment. The flat ones fit nicely. But the photo should reflect what you are paying for.I got an extra 18 piece set to have extra spoons. It was cheaper than getting 6 from Replacements.

We lost our home in a forest fire & had to replace our Stainless ware. This was as close as we could come to matching our old stuff. We really like it in every aspect.

I love this - nice, heavy, solid pieces and classic designs. Very elegant place settings. Added bonus is the hostess set, can't wait to have friends over for dinner! Also makes great wedding or housewarming gift.

Love this set...never seen anything like it. They are durable and really quite nice. Good weight to these as well. I may buy another set just to have more. If this is your style I would highly recommend this set.

Love love love this set. Very sturdy, shiny and durable. The Tablespoon and Dinner Fork are a little larger than I was used too but I am fine with them now. This is a beautiful set.

These are gorgeous and substantial. Love this patrern

Cheaply made compared to previous model. Very light in weight. Pattern on handles of spoons and fork only on one side, compared to both sides on previous model. They feel cheap. This is cost cutting run amok. Unfortunately, too late to return.Update: The handle on one of the knives has developed a rust spot.

Looks beautiful and utensil size is great!
