Wotakoi: Love is Hard for Otaku 1 (WOTAKOI LOVE IS HARD FOR OTAKU GN) Paperback – Illustrated, 19 April 2018

Its nice and light hearted. Good story and characters. Narumi and Hirotaka slowly develop throughout the story. I don't know how far they are currently as I'm currently reading volumes 4, 5+6 but all their relationships developing slowly is nice to see. The art is fantastic especially the facial expression.

When I found out there was a manga made (that started from pixiv) that was about nerds who are in The same age range as myself I was like "FINALLY SOME REPRESENTATION FOR THE OLDER NERDS" This manga series is honestly such a laugh it's so self aware it's awesome also it, it doesn't try to take itself too seriously its just a brilliant manga dedicated to us older gen nerds T^T

A really great storyline at a gentle pace.The characters are really relatable, each of the five core characters (in this book, a 6th will be added later) feel human and have their own favourite passions, that might be frowned upon by polite society.It's a great story of acceptance.The artwork is beautiful.I find the Afterwords all really amazingly written. (This volume contains books 1&2 of the original Japanese manga, translated into English) The translations are pretty good, though there's the odd unnatural sentence, also at the end of each book there are a set of translation notes, these don't just cover certain words that don't really have a great direct translation, but also give you hints about some of the more obscure references that Fujita makes in his works, most of them are fairly obvious to a true nerdy Otaku but even sometimes we need help.This book contains about half of the episodic stories from the Anime (available on Prime, well worth a watch), with a few little extra mini-scenes.This is a firm favourite of mine.

It has a nice storyline and references are explained well. My daughter has enjoyed reading the series.

It is a good book with some coloured pages in it and it is has quite a lot of episodes in so you won't be bored and this is a great book to read on a long car ride or plane flight

I watched the anime a while back so i decided to get the manga as well. It was really good! I definitely recommend!

Purchased this purely on the first episode that just came out!It's Two Volumes in One!The story of working adults who just happen to all be secretly (More some than others) Otaku's of varying types. When you want to have a relationship but are scared that your other half will find out their secret. The answer is to "hire" your fellow man and what ensues is a charming story of funny and quirky exchanges
