Parafilm M JX903 Parafilm Grafting Tape, 90' Roll Clear, 1/2" Tape

Seems to be the real deal. I'm very familiar with parafilm M, and this has the right feel and stretch. Definitely not cling-film lookalike, like a very plasticky "grafting tape" I got last year. I was a little hesitant, but I'm happy with the purchase. A little more width (3/4" maybe?) would have been nice, but I'm not desperate enough to shell out for full width lab parafilm. Good deal, overall.

Good tape

Wrapping agar plates and the stuff don’t semf adhere but I don’t know what I’m doing. With heat it works kinda maybe you have better luck myself I’m going back to adhesive micropore tape

Junk, not parafilm. Do not buy, should have returned. Instead it went in the trash. For grafting by buddy tape from japan on ebay. Use that to cover scion and keep in moisture. For holding scion in cut use 3m freezer tape from ace hardware.

This is fine but I’ll never order it again. It doesn’t stretch very much before snapping, it doesn’t stick to the Petri dish well and it doesn’t even stick to itself very well. Pretty disappointed.

Works perfect to preserve the cut edge of my fig cuttings, keeping them from rotting or drying out.
