Strong Brew, Hot & Cold, Multi-stream technology
The media could not be loaded. I had Keurig Classic and Keurig 2.0 (hot and iced). They both still work. I gave the first one to my Mom and I use the other in my office at work now I wanted something different and considered Ninja, Instant Pot, and Keurig brands. In the end, I picked Keurig Brew+Chill - better reviews, based on my personal experience with the brand, and some new features. The size is a little bulkier than what I would have liked but it will do.I love the multi-stream technology - it pokes 5 holes on the coffee pods, strong brew, brews hot & cold, 70 oz water reservoir.I just received and set this up yesterday. I filled the chill tank with filtered cold water from the fridge. It made some sounds that sounded like your kitchen fan blowing on low setting. I pressed the “quiet” mode so then it changed to just a low humming noise. The sound didn’t bother me at all. While it was cooling the chill tank, I felt some warm air coming from the side vent, right behind the water reservoir. It almost felt like your desktop tower blowing some air. 24 hours later, no more noise and warm air blowing. I think it will come on based on your usage of the “cold” brew. Because of the chill feature, this needs to be plugged in at all times to maintain the water cold.So far, I brewed 2 Keurig Iced CoffeeHouse drinks Pineapple Passionfruit and Strawberry Açaí. I also did 4 hot brews of Starbucks, Kirkland and Keurig coffees. For all the ones I made, they are all good as expected with no issues. I will try to cold brew the traditional Keurig next.My coffee mug in the picture is a 16oz and fits. Some of my 24 oz travel mugs fit if I remove the bottom tray. Anything over 8” tall will not fit. This model would only brew 6 to 12 oz at a time. I would have liked a espresso brew to maybe 4 oz?Back to the cold brews - the machine will do an auto rinse maybe 30 seconds immediate after the brew is completed. I put a cup underneath and for 2 cold drinks, only 1 drop each came out from the nozzle. The bottom tray however was almost full. So, it looks like when it rinse, the water goes through a tube from the inside to the bottom tray. Also, I still have to add ice to my cold drinks. Maybe it’s just a matter of preference? There’s no hot water button on this one but if you just want hot water, say for your oatmeal, just brew hot like normal but without any coffee pods in it. It’s actually good to run plain hot water on your machine from time to time as it helps clean it in between. I did that on my previous machines. I also recommend filtered water only. Don’t use tap water or distilled water.I wish it came with a built in frother. I bought a separate Keurig frother and I will download the Keurig Barista app next so I can try some flavored coffee, latte and cappuccino. I’m excited. The traditional Keurig filter cup won’t fit on this one due to the multi stream feature but I read that one will come out in Feb 2025. I will also try that to make my own using regular ground coffee.Even though I had no issues with my other Keurig coffee machines, I purchased the 3 year protection plan, just in case. Make sure to register yours for warranty and support purposes. 🙂

Amazing! COLD coffee; no ice needed. REQUIRES K-Cup pods for cold coffee.
LOVE IT! It really does make cold coffee. Keurig figured it out. No ice needed. Now the trick is… You must have a Keurig branded K cup. Otherwise, the cold coffee function does not work and it will make it hot. It’s kind a buried or towards the very end of all the product info so just make sure you’re aware of that. They have a brand new reusable Keurig K cup called the My K cup that works for this particular machine for cold coffee. Right now it’s only available on the Keurig website. You can order that for15 bucks and buy get coffee grounds, scoop them in the reusable k cup and you’re good to go. Enjoy!

Coffee when I need it
Great coffee maker. My wife said she wanted this because it could make cold drinks. That was her main reason for buying this. Had it for about 4 months now and she has yet to make 1 cold drink. But it's there in this coffee maker for when you need it. I don't understand cold coffee drinks. I'm a grizzled no nonsense black coffee won the American revolution kinda of fella but to each his own.

Broke 2 days after the return window
Stopped turning on. Called customer service, who could barely speak English and after troubleshooting, she agrees that is faulty. I asked her if this happens often to Keurig machines, as I saw all over the internet on how to take them apart and fix them yourself if they are not under warranty and she said, yes, it happens often. Well that's not good! Now I have to go through the warranty to get a replacement, which will take about a week to have a new one shipped to me and then I have to go to the post office and return the broken one. Plus go get a cheap coffee maker for the time I will be without one. You would think when this happens, they would offer you some sort of free coffee coupon for the hassle, but NO, the rep said, "oh , well ok is there anything else?" when I asked about this. I said "yes, what I just asked you!" Then she thanked me for my time and we hung up. NEVER again will I buy a Keurig

The iced coffee actually is cold!!
First off, I love this machine! I deducted 1 star for three "issues".The first is I wish I could control the temperature of the hot coffee. It comes out hot, but not as hot as I would like.Second, the clearance between the coffee pod head and the tray is not long enough for my large coffee mug. Even when I take the drip tray off it still only accommodates my 20 ounce Contigo mug.Last, after each use of the iced coffee feature, the machine runs a rinse cycle. This involves water coming out into the drip tray. If you have removed the drip tray to accommodate a taller cup (which iced coffee cups usually are), the water drips onto the counter. It is not just a few drips either. The first time it happened I had quite a mess on my hands. Now I just put the drip tray back before this happens.Something else you should know is this machine is on all the time as long as you keep it plugged in. The reason it is able to make iced coffee on demand is that it acts like a mini refrigerator for the cold water carafe. Like all refrigerators you hear the motor running constantly.Initially I thought there was something wrong because previous Keurig models don't have this background noise once they finish a brew cycle. I am used to it now and it no longer is a concern. And yes, there are 2 carafes- hot coffee uses the one you see in the picture with the handle (btw the handle is a huge upgrade from previous models that didn't have a handle), and a second stationary one on the back of the machine for the iced coffee. You are supposed to use the handle carafe to fill the back reservoir so you don't accidentally overfill it. The iced reservoir is not see through so I can imagine it would be possible to overfill it if you aren't careful.I am very pleased with this machine and would recommend it if you enjoy both iced and hot coffee like i do.
