Perfect !
I'm a huge xbox 360 fan, always have been & keep one mainly to play Test Drive Unlimited as Microsoft haven't sorted any backwards compatibility yet !?First week of lockdown March 2020 my 360 E went u/s, of course !Luckily Game UK had one brand new laying about somewhere on the Planet in its original box so I grabbed it, it was the 360 500gb E (Stingray) model (my fav) & that xbox got me through all the lockdowns & beyound, then that went u/s !?So I've bought & returned quite a few off of amazon sellers, unfortunately up until now they haven't been any good, maybe not the sellers fault but disc drive damaged in transit on some, sounded like a bowling ball in a wood chipper on all of them !I kept looking but couldn't commit to buying another 360 as it was a waist of time but recently Microsoft announced no more online stuff for the 360 from sometime next year or whatever it was they were banging on about & I wondered if that would make up peoples minds to sell their 360 so I began searching again & found this seller & to be totally honest I didn't expect to much But I was Wrong..........This xbox 360 250gb s model is AWESOME, its like new !?I couldn't believe it when I unwrapped it all & the icing on the top is the disc drive, it's just normal, just like they used to be & my TDU is running perfectly.Even the controller is unmarked, no gunk on anything, no dust, no marks, nothing, just looks like new & if it had arrived in the original box I would have believed it was brand new !If anything falls apart, shouldn't do fingers crossed, I will update this post But so far I am hugely impressed with the xbox & the seller, 10/10 top notch Thank You.

Matt is back!
Having sold my Xbox sometime ago, I was happy when it came to purchasing a new console that both the 4GB and 250GB now have a matt finish. Don't get me wrong, it's great having the glossy finish but it's a fingerprint and dust magnet! In regards to the console itself, the new slim (S) 360 runs much, much, quieter than the original consoles back in 2005. Not only are they now quieter but they also use a lot less electricity, which is always a plus! The console itself is very easy to setup and feels very robust. Included are:- A wireless controller plus (disposable) batteries, console, SD AV cable, headset, power brick and power cord. If you wish to get the HD experience, a HDMI cable will cost you extra but thankfully they no longer cost the earth. The touch sensitive buttons are great and add to the whole experience but the main attraction is upon starting up the console for the first time. First of all your greeted with a short but in-depth initial setup. This setup allows you to easily setup your console for use and introduces you to some of the great features that come with your Xbox 360. Upon compleation, you are greeted with the dashboard. My console came with the old dashboard with sideways cascading squares. This dashboard isn't the most user friendly but thankfully, Microsoft have released a new metro-inspired dashboard that not only is much easier and faster to use, it looks brilliant.I would like to recommend every owner update to the new metro-inspired dashboard. You may do this via connecting to Xbox Live on your console or following the instructions found at [...]. The new dashboard is much quicker to use, includes many new and welcomed features and categorizes facebook, Sky, LOVEFiLM etc into a new App tab - awesome!Of course, every potential purchaser should be aware in order to play games online and use some of the features, you must subscribe to Xbox Live Gold. The great thing is, if you setup a Gamertag (Xbox Live account) for the first time on your new console, you will get a month for free. There is always offers on Gold as well. At present there is an offer, offering 3-months of gold for just £6 (a 60% saving). The graphics on games are mind blowing and the shear amount of content is immense! Most, if not all games have 5.1 surround sound too. There really is something for everyone on the 360. Other consoles such as the PS3 and Wii do have their strong points too but the 360 is a great all rounder and if you have children, Kinect is something you may also wish to invest in (but that's another review entirely!)If your still unsure, I would suggest taking a look at some of the 1000s of games available and reading their reviews to help you make up your mind. If you do decide to purchase, I would like to take the opportunity to welcome you to the world of gaming and hope to see you on Xbox Live!

Cheap and Chearfull
The Xbox came on the first day of the set days, nice and quick, came with 4 games, a chat-pad, a HDMI lead and the console with all of the necessary parts. It was a little dusty but nothing a damp cloth didn't fix.The Xbox started up fine, although there were still profiles left on, it would have been nice for the seller to do a factory reset but again that only takes 5 minutes. The Wi-Fi seemed a bit off, so that's an Ethernet cable to the back of the console. For £67 total, I cant complain. It is clearly a used console with a couple of scratch marks but that's all, it wall works as intended and I got 4 free games out of it so its not all bad!

intended use mostly as entertainment centre, audio visiolizer based on vion
I recently watched a video from the YouYube channel "techmoan". In this video he attempted to run a DVD player with the audio visualizer gimmick vion included. Interesting watch, but both of the player he had purchased on ebay were failing in short order. Enough to get me interested though. Towards the end of the video he mentioned, they embedded a later version of that system into XBOX 360. Hence I ordered a used one on Amazon. Lo and behold playing a CD not only works, it also brings up a brilliant firework of colour on the screen. The box also plays DVDs or videos from memory stick. However some stick do not work and I had an incident with data corruption on a micro SD card connected via USB adapter. Possibly lack of support of large size file system (above 32 GByte) due to the age of the console? Maybe no support for USB 3.0 for the same reason? Also would not play a series of Rolling Stones albums - which turned out to be hybrid SACDs rather than generic music CDs. In general very happy to have made the purchase. Not sure I will ever use it to play games / maybe find some used one and give it a try. But main motivation for buying this 100% satisfied. No regrets.
