Cadet F Series 36" Electric Baseboard Heater (Model: 3F750-1W Part: 05532 ), 2560 BTU, 120 Volt, 750 Watt, White

I use this as an adjunct to the heating system for one of the bedrooms that tends to run cool. It works well and is quiet.

Looks like what I want. NO Thermostat. Emailed the company on how to get one as the Amazon chat ot had no answer. As yet no reply from the email listed in the manual. Wanting the one that attaches directly to the unit....finally kust called the company and an extra $50 later I am ready to wire in. Heat should come from the ground up and this will augment my new heat pump AC that blows from the ceiling.

Easy to install, works great...

The media could not be loaded. Purchased this product a few months ago and had it installed by a professional electrician on its own dedicated line. It seemed to stop working. I called a different electrician that said the cadet thermostat seemed to be defective so I bought another and had it installed. After about 30 minutes it seems as if it overheated. The heating element seems to have burned the thin flanges that run along it and some burned completely off and fell out. The actual line and point of wiring seems to not have been the issue. There was no burning on the supply line or on the device wires. I bought the cadet thermostat that was recommended for this cadet baseboard heater.

After I ordered this 120V version, I thought I would be better off with the 220V version, but that's okay; I'll put it on a 120V circuit along with one other existing 120V Cadet base heater and the total amps with this and one other 120V will be consuming a maximum of less than half of the capacity of that breaker; well within code. Considering your very quick shipping excellence, I'll receive this order and actually save installation by doing it myself instead of hiring an electrician to do the 220V work because of the 220V breaker that would have been required, so I'll make this 120V version work out. Thanks for your speedy delivery.

This heater is definitely quality...but the installation and need for additional thermostat is a pain. Previously I had a different 1500W radiant heater which I could leave on a setting of 5 of 10 (750W) to keep a 20x20 room perfectly warm. Installation is also kind of silly. You have to wire the thermostat and it has mounting holes for the WALL and not the baseboard. Unless you configure some kind of spacer..the heater will mount on an angle. I ended up drilling a few holes in the device for screws which went into the baseboard. This item is too much of a pain to send back..so I guess I am out of 60+ bucks including the thermostat. I may give this to someone with a VERY small room.
