SG Timer GO | Affordable Shot Timer for Training & Dry Fire, Best Battery Life, Smart Sensor, Belt Quick Release, Bluetooth & Free Mobile app with Video Recording and More. (with Pocket Clip)

I had been using some of the older and larger shot timers that have been on the market for many years, but I decided on the SG Timer GO for its smaller form factor that still features a large display. The buzzer is very loud and the sound sensor/microphone is very sensitive and can be used for dry fire practice as well as live fire. The display is excellent for readability and being back-lit, it is easy to read in any lighting condition. Construction is solid, the two buttons (start/stop and a mode change button) are easy to use and work well to navigate the SG Timer Go's various operating modes. 3 modes come pre-programmed (Live Fire, .22 and Airsoft/Dry Fire) which can be modified to your specific requirements via the SGT Smart Phone App which pairs with the timer via bluetooth. Using the associated SG Timer smart phone application you'll also be able to access custom features/drills, score matches, record video that overlays the times of any shots detected in the video, edit or add additional operating modes and change parameters like shot detection sensitivity, echo suppression, buzzer volume, buzzer delay, number of shots in a string, number of consecutive strings, etc. Check the manufacturer's web site for a great series of instructional videos on all of the SG Timer Go's various features. One very cool way to use the smartphone app (iOS and Android versions available, I've only used the iOS version so can't comment on the Android version specifically) is that you can use your smart phone as a remote control for the SG Timer Go as long as you're within Bluetooth range and any shots detected will show simultaneously on the timer itself as well is within the app. Very handy. Excellent device with very powerful capabilities in a compact form factor. A really good value.

This timer is amazing. I spent a lot of time researching timers before making this purchase. I really wanted to purchase the SG Timer II but pricewise it was a little more than I wanted to spend at the time. The SG Timer GO uses the same "Drills" app as the SG Timer II which allows you to create custom drills and competition stages on your phone and upload them to the timer. As a firearms instructor this comes in very handy when designing drills to help students improve. I also love the fact that it connects with my Axil earbuds so I can hear the commands and tones very clearly. If you're looking for an easy to operate, reasonably priced timer that covers all the bases, this is it.

This shooting timer is incredible!! I pretty much does everything you can think of (and more). Considering the quality of this timer, it’s definitely worth the price. Very easy to use and set up. You can set up drills by downloading the app to your phone. You can also use this timer independently of the app as well but the app gives you many more options. You can also set loudness and sensitivity on the app. Great for dry fire practice. This is the only timer I know of that allows you to adjust the volume of the beep so you don’t disturb the household during dry fire practice. Seems very durable and well made. Also has a backlight and is rechargeable. On a scale of 1 to 10 I’d rate this timer 100!!

Timer works very well, especially being able to sue it for dry-fire. The Bluetooth connection between the timer and phone is really good and super stable. Changes you make in the app show up in the timer within a few seconds, and I haven't had any issues with the connection dropping or being unreliable like a lot of other Bluetooth app enabled products these days. Being able to set up and track drills through the app is great. However, my only real gripe is the app seems a bit immature. The biggest thing being there doesn't seem to be a way to delete anything. You can add gun configurations, drills, sets for those drills, etc. But you can't delete anything you accidentally make. It would also be nice to be able to delete sessions, since I have a few odd sessions from when I was figuring the timer out.

Best shot timer I've used to date. Works great with dry fire, pistol, suppressed rifle, 22, etc. have yet to find something i haven't been able to easily tweak the settings to be able to make it work flawlessly. Build quality feels extremely well made, display is bright and easily readable, and the app connection works seamlessly. Thoroughly impressed by this thing and have zero complaints, at only slightly more expensive than a pact timer you are 100% getting your moneys worth and then some. great compact timer and super easy to use! nice loud buzzer! lots of programmable shot options. got mine with both pocket clip and belt clip. has a really cool feature with the app where you can record video of your performance. thing is solid and doesnt disappoint!
