Really was impressed with the simplicity and effectiveness of this. Not sure how I haven’t bought one before. Worked faultlessly and was actually quite clean to use, no leaks or dribbles. Looks well made with good quality silicon rubber and I expect it will last a while.

I got this to drain water off the cover of my patio furniture as the reviews on the battery operated ones weren't great. It is very simple to use, just take the caps off the ends, put the longer hose into your puddle, put the other end lower down and pump the bulb until the water starts flowing. Once it's flowing you don't have to pump any more, it'll keep going by itself. And when you're finished just put the caps back on the ends so it doesn't leak in storage.

I have a garden water butt with broken tap. To fix it would require emptying it and getting inside(!) to screw in new one. I was on the point of dumping it when I had the thought of a syphon. However I didn’t want my mouth anywhere near the water. I was a bit concerned I would need to keep squeezing the bulb but 2 squeezes and the water flowed out of the butt. I have filled every imaginable container in the garden as we have rain forecast and we have a hosepipe ban.So this little gizmo has saved plastic waste going to land fill, saved a full butt of rainwater and saved on my metered water bill. It will pay for itself in all these savings.

Does exactly what it's designed to do, quickly and very easily. I have tried many ways to drain rainwater from the lid of our inflatable hot tub that have all failed, but this does the job perfectly and without me getting a mouthful of stale, leafy water! Love it.

It did not siphon the fuel from the fuel keg to the generator unless the keg is raised higher the generator. It will not siphon fuel if thekeg is placed on the ground or anything lower than it.Thus, it is not fit for purpose.
