This thing is great, just put 2 self tappers to install it, and it comes in handy a lot for any bolt off of anything that you don't know the thread pitch for, it will save you a hardware store headache

Wow, this thread gauge is absolutely gorgeous!
Well thought out and made from aluminum alloy, not plastic. American like quality at an outrageously low price. I am especially impressed after having spent a fortune on the various Thread Chek'r models. Of course this is not chromed steel; but a thread gauge need not be for any conceivable home or casual business use. Plastic, on the other hand, is to be avoided on a gauge to which steel is attached for size measurement.
