Don't know country of origin, package has USDA organic seal on it.

Hi Andrew. The recipe given to me by a Chinese medicine doctor was 3 tbsp to 1 litre of water. Bring to a boil and then simmer for 20 mins. Remove from heat and let stand for 10 minutes. Strain and divide into 2 or 3 portions. Drink 1 cup two to three times a day. hope that helps

Q: what color is this tea? mine is a golden color. thought it was supposed to be red.

I did not make a tea out it but an heart elixir and it was brown in color. It is a very good product. But the elixir also was made with Rum.
