Product worked great. The bolt was almost completely rounded out. It gripped the bolt easily and got it off.

The first thing you notice is the eight when you pick the box up. It isn't a big box, so it catches you off guard. It look a bit before I needed to use them, but when I did they did the job admirably. Definitely worth a purchase. Not a set you will need every day, but works very well when you do need it!

As the head line says I have not had occasion to use the set yet, but the sockets look much like my current set that works well. Looking over the assortment, and thinking of projects over the years, I noted "yup could have used that one, and that one, oh yeah, that one too" lol. Most sets out there only have 4-5 sockets in them, and none have them for smaller nuts. That is, common hardware sets, Im sure for a bag full of hundreds, you can get one from the "tool truck". Anyway.. the set comes in a decent box, better that some tools I have reviewed. This is one outhouse tools that sits forever, but can be the hero every now and again. I am pleased with it, and hope to never have the need for it ! lol

Cheap soft metal bolts chew the sockets up very easily

Detaching spun hardware is always a pain, and is not uncommon when working on projects the someone used the wrong sized wrench/socket. The proliferation of power tools, and the lack of education on fastener sizes leads to spun fasteners. This kit gives you a fast and effective way to remove these fasteners.

These extractors are built tough and look exactly like others i have used. For comparison i have another one shown in there, these look a bit more thicker on the walls and are stout.

Kit has everything you would need to extract stripped bolts and nuts. I've used this kit to remove some old rusted nuts from outdoor firewood racks and it worked perfectly each time.

This is a pretty comprehensive kit that will be handy to have BEFORE you need it and have to run to the store. I try to keep some of these oopsie boxes around because as our things age, they become easier to break bits and pieces. I don't have any science equipment to test these with, but they feel to be very high quality and come with a nice case to keep everything together and tidy. I hope to never need it, but I know better.
