Electric Pump

You've seen this ball everywhere, its track record gives it credibility. I love this ball. I have been playing water polo for two years and I am pretty well versed at the sport. Few balls compare to Mikasa's. I have had it for a month and used it moderately. Here's the long and short:Pros:-Best grip out there. No other company has the same ridges that Mikasa does.-Awesome design.-Portable (repeated inflation and deflation, as well as temperature change, has no apparent effect on the ball yet).-Durable. I spilled shampoo and conditioner on it and used it in a salt water pool and a hot tub and it still has no problems.Cons:-Grip tends to degrade. This is, of course, to be expected with all water polo balls. However, from what I've experienced, Mikasa balls tend to lose grip due to their reliance on the ridges while Báden balls have a grippier rubber instead. However, Mikasa seems to have changed their design in the last 5 years, so I would no prefer them over any other brand.-Slight residue when brand new. No big deal, just rinse it off or get it wet.Other notes:Like most other sports balls, water polo balls are composed of an inflatable rubber bladder surrounded by the skin. If you deflate this ball, make sure you don't poke a hole through the other side when re-inflating.

Finally got the correct size from Hutsell Sports after two prior attempts to order a size 4 from Price Fighter (it was described as size 4, but was mismarked and we received size 5 twice). It is the ball that is used at Junior Olympics, which is why we purchased it. As mentioned in the other reviews, there is nothing that designates it as the 2012 London Olympic game ball. Doesn't matter to us; it's a good ball and will be used plenty. But be warned: if you really want that "2012 London Olympic" label, you won't find it on the ball.

Product is exactly as expected - Mikasa ball, top quality. Vibrant colors are great day or evening in the pool.

This product is called "Mikasa 2012 London Olympic Water Polo Game Ball (Yellow/Blue/Pink, Size 4)", ...but is just a normal ball - nothing on it is about London Olympics. I assumed it would have branding of some kind that the product title mentions.

Easy to grip, good looking and high quality. This is the perfect ball for water polo players. There is a NFHS logo which is not seen on the picture.

This water polo ball has lost air each time we have filled it. Very disappointed.
