Q: will my dogs rip through this if they are on them?

Probably not unless they like clawing thru things. I actually returned mine because they just weren't that comfortable to me. Plus the sheets, blanket, pillows, everything kept sliding off my bed.

I am not sure but I can guarantee their quality is high! Excellent quality you will love it!! Have bought 2 and gifted on to sister in law!

Q: How do the pleats feel I'm blind and texture is a big thing for I love silky feeling things does this feel good?

I highly recommend this comforter set! You don't feel the pleats even if you use it without the flat sheet underneath. It is super soft and so comfortable! I guarantee you will love it as much as I do!
