Ecover Laundry Bleach, 400g: A Slow Burn or Just a Dud?
So, I’ve recently dabbled with Ecover Laundry Bleach, and while it has the eco-friendly badge of honour, I'm still waiting for my laundry to have its moment. After a few washes, I can't say my whites are dazzling like a toothpaste commercial—yet. However, I remain hopeful that this bleach works with the patience of a Zen master. Perhaps my laundry needs more time to reach its bleach-based enlightenment. On the plus side, it's great to know I'm saving the planet one load at a time, but as for noticeable brightening effects? The jury's still out. Maybe it’s more of a “gradual glow” than a blinding sparkle. Time will tell, and I’ll continue on this bleach journey, because hey, good things come to those who wait... right?

Keeps whites bright and fresh
I use Ecover Laundry Bleach as a whitener and brightener for white towels and laundry such as my partner's white rugby shirt. Living in an area with extremely hard water, I’ve found that whites start to look a bit 'sallow' over time: this has really helped keep that at bay, even after repeated washes. I use it as per the description, either soaking stained items beforehand or adding it to a wash — either sprinkling it in the drum or adding it to the soap dispenser. It doesn't seem overly harsh on fabrics either compared with some other products — and still seems to do a great job lifting otherwise unbelievably stubborn marks (such as turmeric!). It costs just a few pence per wash so is an excellent eco-friendly, cost-effective addition to my laundry routine and I recommend it highly.

Not a patch on Napisan unfortunately
Took a chance as the price was reasonable and good for the environment but it didn’t get my whites white :(

Definitely works and has no bad smell
This product really works, doesn’t have a bad smell, just fresh. It whitens fabric and doesn’t affect the rest of the colours. I used a small amount on 60 degree for 60 mins and worked.I recommend it.

It's magic in a box!!
Bought this in Sainsbury's a few months ago.As it was refuced!! Used recently on July could curtains.I am next to a bus stop and under a flight corridor on the edge of London. So curtains et c do take a hammering. My son offered to take them all down and wash while having lunch!! I used my usual liquid washing gel.Added a half cup of the eco powder in the pre wash section. We were more than impressed with the brightness after the wash.Really really white.!! And smells really fresh. Couldn't get the powder again at supermarket so bought on Amazon.Have used it for cushion covers and shower curtains and towels.Brings the colours back in items. My go to box of magic And dirt cheap and gentle on the planet. Win Win..!😉

It seems to help
got a new machine, which says we need to use this to help keep the drum and pipes clean. So we did. It does do something but wife says 60 degree wash or above does the same. So will probably use it till it’s gone and then reevaluate. Keeps the door seal looking clean, reasonable price nice quality.
