Better than expected, best all around
Seat was better than I expected in quality and adjustability.came with deck bags, again I wasn't expecting.not my first kayak but this would be a great first. Didn't realize I could adjust foot pegs while on water. The one I rented was same size and model but sucked so much compared to what was delivered. This kayak has the best seat I've ever tried. The rental version had just a back band.(which is fine) I don't see the point of adding a rudder as I don't use it often on my other kayaks that have one. I'm 5'8" 190lbs, no where near needing a spray skirt in this, but my standard skirt fits fine. Can't put seat up all the way with skirt on but there is a height adjustment strap to change seat back height on the fly while on water. It tracks straight, even with significant effort paddling. It's not the fastest or slowest by any stretch it's right in the middle. Again surprised enough foot room I could wear my hiking boots without issue. Thigh braces are there but unless you pull foot pegs close enough to force bent knees you won't notice they are there. (Nice trick to have them when you want but push pegs forward a bit and don't really notice they are there)I can't stress how much better this kayak is than the exact same one I rented. The seat is so adjustable compared to anything I've ever tried. To easily move foot pegs while on the water is something I've never experienced. I don't think it's any lighter or heavier than anything else I've tried. The hatches are water tight so far. Haven't stuffed a lot in them yet. This is my favorite kayak right now. I've had many. I might buy a longer version someday but the seat is exceptional wish it was in all my rigs. There are no fishing rod holders not that I'd use them but as a recreational kayak I think they could add utility, as a touring kayak it's pretty fat and as much as I could keep up a brisk pace longer would help there. Still this is my goto favorite I'd highly recommend it to any ability level. The longer version was significantly more $ is why I chose this size and I wasn't 100% how much I'd like it. If I could do it again I'd spend the extra but as thing are I'm not unhappy with what I have. I don't think I'd jump up to the tempest thoug. It's the length I want but it's a different boat that is more specialized and not as well rounded (imo) I've got a super fast less stable boat. (in secondary vs primary stability tempest is more secondary vs tsunami is more primary stability)

Product is fine. Customer Service is a nightmare.
It took over a month for this product to ship to us. The instructions were not clear about scheduling a drop-off. The instructions made it sound like shipping company would contact you and ask you when they can drop off. In reality, they wanted you to dig through the shipping info to find the company and call them to schedule. Not clear at all.The product was fine. We needed a refund because the cockpit was a bit too small for my significant other. He read reviews about other people his size fitting in this kayak so he thought it would work. We spent over an hour on the phone setting up a refund. They picked it up just fine, but this was almost 2 months ago. There is no sign of a refund and no one to ask about it. Do yourself a favor and do not buy this item on Amazon.

Comfortable easy paddle.
The Tsunami 14.5 is the perfect fit for me. 6’1” and 195 lbs. It moves through the water with little effort and the seat is adjustable and comfortable. The kayak was delivered without any damage despite only being wrapped in plastic and a thin wrap of cardboard.
