This portable battery is not half bad. It is a big battery but I am able to keep it in my trunk. It does come with a case to store all the cables which is nice. I do not have to worry about misplacing my cables. All the pockets are bit enough to hold all my cables and the battery without issue. The battery did only come at 50 percent charge. I did do a few battery cycling before I put it away for storage. The charging time varies based on the medium. The average charge time can be 3 to 4 hours from dead to full. The batter has covers for all the ports to protect them. I am not entirely sure if the battery is waterproof so I do not recommend assuming som the battery is not too bad of a price for what you get. The battery was able to jump my dad's cars about 3 times before it needed to be recharged. It has a boost button to help with jumping the car. The clamps are pretty basic. They clamp on well but be aware the jumping cable is not very long so you have to find a spot for the battery. The battery can actually be used to charge your phone and such in an emergency which is a plus for me when I'm on the go. After about 1 and half months the battery does discharge a little bit of power so do not expect it to be at full all the time. The device does support fast charging. The light is not bad to use for emergency repairs at night. It does come with usb cables to recharge the battery as needed. The casing is pretty durable and the battery is heavy. Overall you get a good case and good battery jumper. I actually like having the case for storage so I can safely put it in my trunk. The usb cables provided are very basic. The jumper cable is short but nice. The battery jumps the care several times without much issue. I do like how the battery looks. It is heavy though.

Very portable. Charged up and keep in truck. Used the first time two months later and was still at 100%. Used on a dead battery on a truck that had been parked for over 7 years. Let charger do it's thing for about two minutes then tried turning over motor. Success! Didn't start but charger did what I needed. Have used on others since and jump is instant.

I have 2005 Honda Pilot SUV, which is now almost 20 years old and while it's still driving solid, the battery sometimes dies on me so I need to get my other car to jump the battery. This usually happens when my Pilot is parked in front of my house for several weeks without being used so it's not a big deal to jump it as my other car is readily available near by on the drive way but if this were to happen while I'm outside then it can be a pain in the neck to ask my wife to come to where I am just so I can jump the car... and that finally happened few weeks ago and I was very far away from my house so I ended up calling my friend rather than my wife.We are not ready to junk my precious Pilot yet so I decided to get a portable car battery jump starter that I can keep inside the Pilot as a backup. After researching various portable jump starters, I got this one based on price and its specification, and I'm very happy with it. It has peak 8000Amp output and can be used up to 80 times in a single charge to jump a car according to the specification but I believe that spec will vary depending on how big the car is. Nonetheless, this will be powerful enough to jump a truck or RV.My Pilot wouldn't start again few days ago and even though it was parked in front of my house, I decided to give this portable jump starter a try so that I don't have to move my other car next to my Pilot to jump it. It was very simple to use and viola, it was able to jump my Pilot on the first try! It was so much easier and more convenient to use this portable jumper than the traditional way with long jumper cables that need to be connected on both cars. It even has built-in flashlight that can also use as a strobe light or SOS light so it's very good during roadside emergency, not to mention it has USB ports that can be used as a portable power bank to charge your phone. Highly recommend it.

In spite of the fact that it has the capacity to provide 8000A of power, the jump starter is surprisingly portable and can be stored securely in the trunk of my vehicle. Additionally, the carrying bag that it comes with is a good addition since it helps to keep everything organized and makes it quick to grab in the event of an emergency. I successfully utilized this jump starter on my vehicle, which is equipped with a bigger gas engine, and it worked without a hitch. I have the impression that it was made with ease in mind, and the LCD display makes it simple to observe the current level of the battery and to comprehend what is going on when you are using it. As a result of the obvious signs, the procedure is made less scary, which is particularly helpful for someone who is not very knowledgeable about automobile maintenance. The jump starter was simple to use, especially for someone like myself who does not have a great deal of technical expertise. It’s good. Not great. I bought the little red jump box by S Zevzo (maybe 2500a?) first and was wildly impressed. The 5000 and 8000 amp units are good, not wildly impressive. I haven’t had one do what the little red box wouldn’t do yet. It might have been less stressful on the unit, but the outcome would have been the same.

Excellent product! Alittle pricey, but it gets the job done every time! Used it many times without any problems. Just hookup provided cables to battery, plug into the unit and get it started! A must have for your shop!
