2in1 robot vacuum!!!!
I have been using this Eureka Robot vacuum for almost a month now and i really like it. It had made mopping and vacuum so easy. I usually don’t vacuum on daily basis but ever since I bought the vacuum is set it to vacuum daily at night time which have made my kitchen floor look clean and shiny when I wake up. It came with a detailed manual which is easy to follow along and set the vacuum to my liking. It does have App that I installed which is great when I am in my bed or outside to just turn it on before guest come to my house. The suction of this robot vacuum is very impressive. I have 2 cats in the house with long hair and it suctions everything. My main concern was if it will clean and suction the hair of my pets and I was very happy when it did and it works like my Dyson vacuum does. It has the mapping system when I can set where the carpet is and where the hardwood floor is and works well and doesn’t make my carpet wet at all. My floors don’t usually get too dirty but the mopping system work good and I don’t see any foot prints on the floor.I have stairs in my house and it detects with it’s sensors which is amazing because I was worried that it would fall of the stairs. After the vacuum working daily I only have to empty it every 2 weeks which has made it so easy for me. Overall, I am very happy using this Eureka robot vacuum and not having to worry about emptying out trash, mopping, charging it, and so much more. It comes with great features that made my house cleaning process easy.

Perfect for dog owners!
If you have a dog, it’s a game changer! It’s great on picking up pet hair from my big chocolate lab. It’s easy to direct. It self empties. It’s bagless. It mops. It has good suction. What’s not to like?My house has an open floor plan, so I usually just run it to clean zones. (Using the app, I set up the rectangular cleaning area, the “zone”, rather than “the living room”, “kitchen” , or whole house, etc.). That way I make sure it doesn’t fill up with too much dog hair before going back to its base to self empty. SEE UPDATE BELOW. The first time I tried cleaning the whole house and the bin filled with dog hair. It doesn’t know to self empty when the bin is full (I wish it did), but since I can easily run it in zones, that’s not a problem. Also, I’m sure that the first time I ran it there was a lot more dog hair on the floor than now.The mop function works well enough to get dog drool spots off my laminate flooring. You still have to wipe up muddy paw prints.I love that it’s bagless. I usually empty the container after a few cleanings. It’s so easy. You just push a button while holding it over a trash can and it’s done. It’s amazing, and a bit disgusting, to see how much stuff it’s vacuumed up.The app is easy to use, and I’m not at all techy. The vac is great at avoiding dog toys and other things that might get in its way. I’m amazed how it maneuvers around furniture legs. It’s kind of fun to watch as it scurries back to its base when it’s done. (I’m easily amused sometimes).Bottom line, I think you’ll like it especially if you need to pick up dog hair. I like it so much, I bought one for my daughter who has three big dogs.It also does a good on my bedrooms which have carpeting. You can adjust the suction and so it pulls nicely. Again, when you empty the container, you’ll see how well it cleans.UPDATE: My daughter showed me how to use “Smart Dust Collection”. Apparently, the vacuum DOES know when to self empty! Go to Settings to activate.

App needs work, robotic logic needs work. Doesn't last.
Update (7.7.24 - 8 months): Reducing my Rating to 1. I'm sorry I purchased this and feel as though it was a waste of money. At best I can use this as a regular vacuum without the mop function from here out but now need to find a new solution to mopping my main floor's hardwoods and kitchen tiles. What a waste.I had noticed that the internal collection compartment was getting gunked up. It seems that because it is vacuuming and mopping at the same time, it is basically mixing dust and water to make a mess inside the vacuum. When you normally mop, you sweep the area first or vacuum it, then mop. This device mops while vacuuming which makes wet dirt. This then is not ejected into the waste cannister correctly and can quickly build up. Essentially, you need to manually clean the vacuum every time you use it with the mopping feature defeating the purpose of the automatic waste cannister.Today I noticed the unit is leaking. I don't know from where but I found a wet spot beneath the charging station and it appears the hardwood floors beneath have been slightly damaged due to getting wet over time.I wanted to like this product and did my best to give it every chance. Unfortunately it fails to deliver on what it was designed to do and in the future I will not be looking to Eureka for my vacuum or mop needs.(original post) Purchased this for the 1st floor of my house 4 months ago. Tile kitchen, hard wood hall, hard wood dining room with an area rug. I also have a step down into a sunken living room and on the opposite side of the house, a step down into a sunken den. I don't have pets.I knew the living room and den would need the vac picked up and set back down which was fine. My main goal was to get something that would mop the kitchen and hardwoods regularly. Here's my experience thus far. What I like:- The cleanout cannister doesn't need to be emptied after each cleaning, is easy to use and dump out, and doesn't require special bags like some of the other brands.- The mop feature has been doing a decent job keeping the floors clean.- For a mop and vac unit, the price was good compared to some of the other brands. What I don't like:- The App is not the best. Some screens just need you to select a different option but other screens require you to also select a tiny check at the top corner. Not very intuitive. The room maps allow you to set up named regions and even virtual walls but there's no options to set mop or vac intensity by room. For example, I'd want my kitchen mopped with the highest mop settings but the halls with the lowest. Also, I've set it to not mop at all and just vacuum and found it mopping anyways.- The logic gets confused and I have one spot where it will continually return to, back up, move a few feet away, then return to the same location again. It will do this over and over until it runs out of charge. I've tried remapping the area, relocating the base station, doesn't matter. I just now set up a virtual wall in the App to try and stop this from happening.- Mopping reservoir has no gauge and the vac and app do not indicate when the unit is empty. As I haven't tried any other brands of vac/mop combo's, I don't know if any of these issues are better or worse industry wise.
