Great product. Since placing these balls around my house and in my garage, I have not seen a single snake. I love it.

The description said this would work for lizards but I had no luck. Lizards are lying right next to the repellent. I used several but did not notice a difference with the lizards in my yard.

I had them on my lawn only to wake up to a 6ft black snake 1 ft away from it ...in my opinion these smell like moth balls and snakes are laughing

The box says nothing about this product being a lizard repellent, but the product summary does? I put these in my lanai and have just as many lizards as before

We have a 10' tall 30' long rock wall that lines our backyard . There is a steep weed and grass area above the wall. The rats love the rock wall as there are lots of places to hide. Rats and snakes (nonpoisonous) reside in the weed area. I can't stand the rats. Six months ago I tried a similar product label as rat repellent. It worked. This box is even better. It has more repellants balls. The oder from this product is stronger than the Oder of the other product I used and the repellent balls are larger. We have dogs and cats and our yard hosts eagles, hawks, the neighbors' cats, skunks, and other critters. We love the wild and domestic critters and don't want to harm them. I really like these as they actually repel the rats and snakes and deter the rats from making a home in our rock wall. Wearing garden gloves, I throw the peppermint balls into crevices in the rock wall. Our wall has a slight peppermint scent for the first week. The rats usually kick bits of moss and small rocks onto our lawn when they inhabit the wall. After using these repellent balls, the amount of small items on the lawn decreases significantly. (The rain brings a few things down.) Last time I used a similar product the effect lasted about 6 months. I am very firm in my stance of no poison. One of my adult kids lived in an apartment complex that used poison in rat bait boxes. Her beloved kitty caught one of the poisoned rats and ate it. Then the poor cat was poisoned and died. This same thing happens to birds of prey, coyotes, cougars, wolves, and other prey animals. To quote from the copy for the product: "Active Ingredients: Garlic oil....4% Peppermint oil......2% Castor oil....1% Cinnamon oil....1% Inert ingredients: Corn cobs.......48%…Cottonseed meal.......44% Total....100%" Do wear gloves when handling the balls, as the peppermint oil can sting. Be sure to place where pets, animals, kids, and curious adults can't touch it. Five star product for this household.
