Great camera for a great price
This is a wonderful camera for a great price that comes with a ton of features. The camera arrives in a small box but don’t let that fool you, once you open the box you are met with a high quality build product.Installation:Because the camera came move in multiple directions it comes mounted on a solid base that has the right amount of weight to it so that it does not tip over easily. If you want to mount the camera on a wall or something it comes with a bracket and screws on which you can easily connect the camera.Power:Power is received through a USB-C port and a 6ft cable and charger have been included.Setup:This is one of the easiest setups I have seen. The included install guide provides you with a QR code that once scanned will download the VicoHome App for iPhone or Android. Going through the setup process is guided and super easy. A few minutes later your camera is up and running. The only thing that you need to have handy is the password for your wireless network.Application:Access to the camera is done through the VicoHome application. The layout of the app is user friendly and easy to understand. You can have manage multiple camera/devices in this single application.A bonus with this camera is that it has the ability to capture video onto a SD memory card. An SD card is not included, but as they are fairly cheap I am ok with that as it will keep the price for the camera down. Alternatively you can store all video in the cloud on a free or paid subscription. In environments where the physical security of the camera might be a concern (theft of the camera) I would recommend using the cloud storage. If you go with the paid subscription you not only get 60 day video history, but additional features get enabled like up to 3 minute recordings, advanced smart push, where you get alerts only when needed for people, pets, packages, or vehicles, and the possibility to customize the areas that you want to enable alerts on. For example you can set the alert area not to alert on the road in front of your house, but alert for activity on the sidewalk. The VicoHome application has a ton of configuration settings to adjust just about anything you can think of when it comes to the audio, video, motion detecting, and notification. You can also enable for an alarm siren to go off for a set period of time when it detects movement, and there is a button of the camera that can be used for a One-Touch Call between the camera and the app.The camera can be put either manually or through a schedule in sleep mode during which the camera moves into its 'parked' position and no further notifications will be made until the camera is woken up again. Conclusion:What did I not like:During the time that I tested this camera I have found a few very minor software related bugs and/or minor inconveniences that I hope will get addressed by the manufacturer.Creating a location for where the camera resides did not work 100% of the time. Not a big deal as it is something that you most likely only do once for each camera.Once in a while the camera would get disconnected from the app, not during viewing the camera but most of the times it happened it was when making changes. Again not a big deal and clicking the camera would reset the connections. The help content provided by the app, is not only for this camera for but for all cameras the app supports. That can become confusing when you are reading the help and try to find that feature for your camera only to find out that your camera does not support that feature, or that it is a pay only feature. The movements of the camera through the app is not fantastic and it would be appreciated if the control was a bit more precise. What did I like:This camera has a ton of features that you can adjust to your likings. It comes with a free cloud storage option which means you do not have to buy an SD card if you only care to watch the last 3 days’ worth of recordings. If you want more features and/or storage you can upgrade for a small monthly fee.Watching and recording in 2K is great feature that my previous camera did not have. Seeing the difference is huge. While watching the camera you can use your fingers to zoom in and out. Something that is great when used with the higher resolution.Overall I would recommend this camera.

Best around camera
The media could not be loaded. I have bought three of these cameras. They were great. I had an issue with one of them. The support team kept in contact with me and mailed me a new one. We are in the process of setting up the new one fabulous company to work with. Definitely recommend. We use these for security where I live. We love them very easy to set up.

Great trail camera
This was delivered quickly. Read a lot of reviews for these types of cameras and this seemed to be the best. Well worth the money. Great pictures and video. Love that it is solar powered. You do have to subscribe to be able to view the live stream.

Only one camera for each cloud
very dissatisfied your business doesn't support more than one camera, having to buy cloud and Internet for each camera is total BS.Now here on 11-23-24 my battery completely died the Solar panel didn't keep it charged. Quality pictures & videos but not happy overall.

Does the trick!
**CAME BACK TO EDIT WITH AN IMPORTANT UPDATE!!!! This product listing is now DIFFERENT - it is for a camera that I did NOT review - to my knowledge, vine reviews are for the white camera, not the black one which is an entirely different system. Just something to note, please understand that this review is for the white, sitting camera.Overall I’m very pleased with this camera!! The only thing I have to compare it to is the Ring. Overall, I do not notice any substantial differences between this one and the ring option, and the ring option for the camera + the pan tilt that allows you to move the camera is about triple to quadruple the price. The only reason I would spend more on the ring is simply for the sake of having everything all on one app/only paying one subscription fee. Otherwise, it would be difficult to justify! The mobility and angles on this camera are great, it’s easy to operate and look up/down/backward/forward. I also really appreciate the motion tracking.. it’s a bit creepy, the camera following you as you move around the room, but for the sake of checking in while away, I really appreciate that (makes it easy to see what’s going on without having to manually operate the camera). There is an option to have it track all motion, or track just human motion (if you have pets). The only thing I will say is that I put mine on my media stand, and sometimes the camera gets confused and tilts over to the tv (and tracks the actors movements haha). Anywho, it’s kind of amusing… slightly annoying, but it’s not a very expensive product so I can’t really complain. As a note, you have the option of battery powering the camera or plugging it in. I plugged it in, and I noticed that the plugin is in the front of the camera below the call button… which makes sense if you were minting it on the wall, but I just set it on a flat surface, so it’s kind of odd having the cord come out like that.EDIT: It is not supposed to come out of the front, I was having trouble resetting the camera and have it flipped around the wrong way... oops! Even having it literally completely backwards, I still have full visibility, I just have to take it the loooooong way around to see the other half of my living room!Installation was quick and easy, I have no troubles with it. Didn’t take me more than 5 minutes.Regarding the app, I struggled a bit with its usability. Its user interface isn’t totally intuitive, but I got the hang of it! You can hear audio through the camera and also speak through the camera, and do calls. I’ll use the one way audio to talk to my pets while I’m away! The app is generally free to use, however there is a subscription option as well… I’m not exactly positive what the subscription is for since I am not using it, I just saw that it was there. Think it starts around $4 a month! All around, a great option for the price. I was pleasantly surprised to see how far this technology has come!

Great Trail Camera
I got this for my husband's birthday, and he has been loving it! He enjoys hearing his phone ding and looking to see what's hanging around at this favorite hunting spot. He's been excited to see several bucks walking through, especially since it's currently deer season.

Room for improvements.
Poor application software for this camera. The camera works great, solar panel keeps the camera well charged but the application software is lousy. You can only see the pictures/videos one day at a time. If you a looking for a picture you can't see all of the pictures on one screen. You have to call up the calendar, select a day to see if the picture you are looking for is there. How about a screen that shows all pictures so you can roll through them.It would also be nice to be able to zoom the picture.
