They’ve updated the product, the screws were not an issue for me. They stamp a date on the back of the product and mine said it was manufactured on 10/2018. I’d probably stay away from anything with an older date. Or simply buy new screws.

It's beautiful and does what it says but there is no way it should cost this much. Such is life for an Apple user, I guess.There was no problem with either the big or small screws on my 2018-built example. Tighten them gently, as you should do for any screws of this size, and really anything to do with electronics. Don't use a gorilla approach; treat them just like you would screws inside the iMac Pro.I would have no fear of taking the mount out and putting my stand back on.

The only thing that resembles a true apple product is the packaging. The design is flawed and it leaves a 1/8" gap between the bracket and the bar that is screwed on to the iMac pro. The gap is further complicated by the fact that they ship with very cheap screws. Every time I move or touch the screen I'm concerned I will pop a screw. Search on YouTube to see user examples of how flawed this product is. I paid a premium Apple product price for something that is poorly made and may damage my $5000 computer.
