Berkley Fishing Carts (All Models & Sizes)

Fishing seems to be a limiting word for this product since it could be used for many other tasks i.e. - lug beach gear across the sand, cart things at a flea market, yard work, etc.This cart works great for carrying my fishing gear from the car to the beach. Folds up nicely to fit into the back of most any vehicle. Tires float across the sand and even handle the tire ruts caused by beach buggies pretty well. I think it is made to be pulIed, but it can be just as easily pushed (moreso on the packed sand). I saw two other carts locally prior to purchasing this one and for the price, size, and utility of this cart, it was the best choice. Seems to be well made.I have read reveiws about tires popping from over inflation and heat. Heck, I didn't put any air in the tires and they work great out of the box! They do have a bad odor which seems to have disapated a bit as my shed doesn't smell quite as bad as it did when I first put it in there.Update - odor is completely gone now. Cart is holding up very well.

Where do I begin on this fishing cart? I was looking for a cart that would make our Sunday Family beach days a little less of a fiasco and this cart was the answer! After looking at many carts and reading tons of reviews we finally chose this one. It works perfect for family beach days but also for when my boyfriend goes out fishing & crabbing. This cart is very durable and has had no problems being loaded up and taken to the beach every weekend. It fits nicely in our outside storage closet & in the back of my Dodge Journey. It's very lightweight and I can easily pick it up and put it in my car or pull it out of our storage closet. We have had this cart for a few months and I can say without a doubt we will have it for many years to come!!

This cart is awesome. My husband is able to load all his surf fishing stuff inside and make a single trek out instead of multiple trips to the car like he had been. It pulls fine through the sand with a decent amount of weight and so far, no issues with tires or the frame. He’s used it pier fishing and surf fishing multiple times now and is a happy man. All his spinner rods fit, his cooler, his tackle box, chairs, etc. he drives a Honda Civic and size had been the biggest issue when looking for a cart, but this collapses nicely and fits in his trunk. I’d suggest this for anyone looking for a beach/fishing cart that will pull well through sand, fit in a smaller vehicle, and doesn’t want to shell out 500 dollars for balloon tires. These tires are great on the soft sand, and wet sand, but sturdy enough to work on the parking lot gravel and pier planks without worrying about blowing out from every pointy rock. With the money he saved, he was able to upgrade to a batter quality rod. Excellent choice for us.

I see lots of reviews of people using this as a beach cart and that's not really the purpose of this. It appears to me a medium/light duty fishing cart. I brought this to the back bay in virginia and it did me well. 4 rods, a 20 quart cooler; filled with ice, drinks, food, and bait, tackle box, an umbrella and a couple other misc items. Probably a good 100 pounds and not much more. On hard packed sand and deck boards the thing rolls like a champ. Soft sand and thing bogs down very quickly. The days I went out, the weather was about mid to high 70s so no problem with the hubs. Cutting board is very nice and works well. My biggest gripe was actually the rod holders. Thin plastic and 1 did not hold up. They are also very shallow for the surf rods I use. I wound up cutting the bottoms out of a few so my rods could actually seat.

I have had this product for months now and waited to write a review. We wanted a cart that would collapse down to fit into a trunk so that we could take with us and would also be easy to store in our Florida condo unit indoor storage area. We felt this would meet both needs. It also looked quite sturdy. The product is easy to assemble, and fairly straight forward to re-assemble. We have used it a least 20 times now. We have only used it on the beach for surf fishing. It has held up fine and we have rolled the wheels in the ocean water without difficulty. It holds a ton of crap. We have bungee cords to hold our chairs and stuff on the top and walk a significant distance to the beach from the parking lot over a causeway with no troubles.You can but a big cooler, bait bucket, 2 tackle boxes, 2 chairs and 2 fishing pole holders on this cart (with bungees). People have commented about the tire smell but I didnt think it was too bad. I rarely give reviews but I felt that If you were looking for this type of item it is working perfectly for us, don't hesitate to buy this.
