It works well and is built well, but not for all situations
It works on some motors and not other types. So don't let the high return rate dissuade you. Build quality is good. The ventilation is good, which is important as it has to spill heat. Many that use this type of voltage-speed reduction don't offer much ventilation. Even with this unit, I would not use it without being present to watch it.
