Inexpensive, and it works. Can't ask for more.
Memory is almost a commodity these days, and there's little that differentiates one from the other, apart from reliability--either it works or it doesn't. Hynix seems to offer high-quality, dependable memory at the lowest prices. For barely $25 I upgraded an older laptop from 1GB to 4GB of memory, which dramatically improved the overall responsiveness of the laptop. That, combined with a $10 32GB low-profile USB flash drive from Sandisk to cache files, and my eight year-old laptop now performs like a new one again. I could replace the hard drive with an SSD for the ultimate performance boost, but these two upgrades gave me the most bang for the buck.DDR2 memory is old by today's standards, so it's becoming harder to find suppliers who still sell it, but Hynix has done a commendable job of filling this niche and at a very competitive price.

Great DDR2 SODIMM
I installed this SODIMM on my old Toshiba Satellite L455-S5975 laptop to double up from 2GB to 4GB of RAM, and it has worked twice as fast. Granted that I swapped out the HDD for a SATA SSD, but the RAM upgrade made it work perfectly. Great product.

Awesome! Does what it's supposed to
Added this to an old XP machine recently and because of the memory cap on that OS/system it did the maximum upgrade possible. Going from about 2GB to closer to 3GB. Very happy to have the extra RAM, and they must be doing something right because after many years it's still good.

FWIW works just fine in an IMac
FWIW works just fine in an IMac , I was given an IMac with 1 gig installed. It was painfully slow loading more than on application. It was using hard disk for swap file. Adding 2 more gig made it very responsive. This also made it practical to format and load Linux - runs great - just figuring out how to deal with IMac BIOS to boot was a lot of fun.Inexpensive upgrade to salvage a machine from going to the bone yard.

Excellent guality and service for the money!
Appears to be a quality item. Installed 2X2 in my old, but like brand new, Dell Inspiron 1318.I hardly used this machine over the years, but resurrected it as a back up for my all-in one. Lots of plusses for its age, not to mention it has a slot drive DVD burner, if I need it. What I never realized the RAM mixes out at 4 Gigs! I was going for 8, but no go.I installed this RAM, ran diagnostics, and it works flawlessly.Good deal and great service.Good job.
