SUPERB BASS and TREBLE CONTROLS
high quality sound system, have bought it for my computer. WOW, worth the money - bass packs a PUNCH and hardly any systems now have an independent TREBLE control, this was one of the main reasons I got this. Remote works fine. I do multi track recording on my instruments, the play back is ASTOUNDING, the clarity and quality is beyond description.

Very Solid Product
I've had this set-up for a couple of weeks now, and it's been great. The build quality of the speakers and sub feels great and they look great too. There's a good range of sound, thanks to the size of the bookshelf / satellite speakers - when listening to TV and movies, speech is clearly audible over rumbles and noise. Music sounds great too. One issue I have found is that there's noticeable hiss / noise when connected over bluetooth that's not noticeable over other connections. This might simply be my phone / interference rather than the speakers. Reducing the volume on the speakers themselves made it not noticeable / disappear. Only other thing I could warn about is the shortness of the power-cable to the Sub, which caused a bit of an issue for me, but is easily remedied.

Beautiful sound
I honestly mostly use it to help me get to sleep, the sound is crisp and bassy even without it ramped up to 11. Find the right nature track at a high enough quality and you will feel like you are actually in the woods listening to creaking branches, and rain drops on leaves! Also all my music sounds incredible on it too 😅 I'm no audio expert by any stretch, but it just sounds gorgeous to the ears. Only downside for me was the remote, it looks fantastic and works fine, but the battery barely lasts in it, and I barely used it... 🤷🏻♂️

100% Worth the Money
After trying to use my Sonos Play 5 as a speaker for my decks i quickly realised the latency issue was bad enough that i needed to invest in a new speaker. Having looked and searched for a set of good quality speakers with plenty of base I was about to buy the Bose companion 50 multimedia speaker when i seen a video online comparing the Edifier S350db with the companion 50. The quality seemed far better on the Edifier and i decided to take the plunge. Luckily i did as the speakers arrived within two days and straight out the box i have been super impressed with the sound. Really deep base and nice mids and highs the Edifier certainly sounds like a much more expensive speaker than it costs. No latency issues at all with my decks and the Edifier has several inputs at the back of the base including RCA and Optical. The delivery was very fast and arrived quicker than predicted. I can not recommend the Edifier S350db enough.

Super impressed with everything about this speaker set :)
I did a lot of research into buying this and honestly believe if your budget is under £300 and you want a decent solution for music and films, that includes a subwoofer, then this is what you need. It blows any of the soundbar & sub setups that cost around the same price out the water. The build quality is insane you genuinely feel like you have a quality product. I just didn't want to be disappointed when I opened the box and played my favourite song and I really wasn't. Exceeded my expectations tbh. The only real negative I can find is that the way the speaker are linked together is a propriety type set up so you couldn't really use the sub or speakers with other setups. This is due to it being active and having the controls in a decent place (rather than on the sub) so you can see why they have done it this way and it fair enough. The little puck controller inst great either. But these thing pound out a tune and really sound great, one of my favourite purchases of 2020. Music feeds the soul and since I've had good quality sounds back in my life I've been a lot more chipper :) (Also note it doesn't have a phono (pre-amped) input to plug a vinyl deck in, I got a little digital one from behringer that does the job, avoid the tube gimmick ones IMO)

Excellent quality speakers
I don't write many reviews, but these impressed me so much I made an exception. The sound quality really is excellent; when you lift the sub-woofer you can tell why the bass is so impressive, but I've been even more taken with the mid-range. They're solidly built and ooze quality, except for the daft remote, which is pucking awful. I did a lot of research before buying these and I'm glad I did, as they have delivered beyond my expectations.

Incredible Value
Blown away by the build and sound quality of these for the price! Rivals a much more expensive set up really well

Great sound for the money but hilariously impractical
These speakers sound great for what they are. Computer speakers under GBP300 rarely sound this good! If you want to get the most out of these speakers, try and get them up on speaker stands a few feet away and out from your listening position. Then toe them in slightly, and make sure the speakers are isolated from the stand (I used a slice of packaging foam). Set up this way, this set will truly sound amazing! That's all easier said than done though. Be aware that someone at Edifier was evidently in a state of mind where they thought it's a great idea to connect the right speaker with a proprietary cable that is a) way too short, b) permanently connected, c) has a 15-pin Sub-D connector that won't fit through any reasonable cable management hole for speakers and d) cannot be extended despite it being a standard Sub-D because you do not know the wire pin-out and an old monitor cable hasn't got the right pins connected. Also, because of this hilariously idiotic cable, make sure you can place the right speaker close enough to the subwoofer. If your room layout requires the sub to be closer tp the left speaker, you can still connect your sound source through a pair of RCA cables and change over left and right. Obviously if you are willing and able, you can always put together and test your own 1:1 extension cable. So there you have it. If you don't mind any of this (or if it's indeed not an issue for you), you cannot go wrong with this set!

For simplicity, shortest description would be "Monitors with 8" Sub". For those who care and have patience, lets understand the why's & what's. Why I/anyone should go for these? - If you are wary of sound signatures of massy brands, i.e.: 1. Muddy & overpowering bass (E.g. Sony, Philips) 2. Lack of definition in mids + overpowering bass (E.g. F&D, Logitech, JBL) 3. Overall mundane and bland, "jack of all master of none" types (E.g. Bose) There can be many use cases, here's what I wanted when I started scouting: 1. High fidelity 2. Definition in highs and mids 3. Clarity in bass 4. Dedicated sub if possible 5. Relatively moderate price considering the niche segment After deliberation I was left with option of bookshelf/studio monitors, these are the option I had (online), and why I didn't choose them: 1. Monitors with small(3/3.5/4") drivers (E.g. Mackie CR5BT CR Series, JBL Professional NANO K3-K4, PreSonus Eris E3.5, M-Audio AV42 etc) - All these are pretty good speakers and has flat sound signature, the question is how flat do you want the sound signature to be. I am not a studio person who mixes and produces any music, I just want good clarity with definition in bass. All these monitors have 3/3.5/4" drivers at max, what about bass when I need some? They cant deliver. But then if you want some good lows you have to purchase a separate sub (another hole in the pocket). 2. Monitors with 5" drivers and above - (E.g. Edifier S2000MKIII) Well these provide good bass with clarity (this comes at a cost!). But the ability of full range dedicated sub driver always trumps similar sized mid range drivers. 3. Monitors with 8" drivers and above - Perfect fit, except my pockets disagreed very strongly. Also at this range you have already crossed the line of diminishing returns. Other compelling Bookshelf/Monitors and reason why it didn't fit in my scheme of things. M-Audio BX8 D3, Mackie MR824 8" (price parity) & Edifier R2750DB (No particular reason, could have gone for it, size is big though) Reasons to go for Edifier S350DB: 1. Bi-Amped speakers with separate DSP channels per driver (in simple words - enough definition for all freq ranges) 2. Apt X (Qualcomm)- Need those extra bandwidth for high fidelity in Bluetooth streaming 3. 8" subs (the deciding factor for me) - Bass is on the heavier side but never overpowers mids and highs + you can always control how much you need 4. No listening fatigue - After watching a movie in my Sony Home Theater I need to reorient my listening, it gives a headache of sorts, on the other hand S350DB is a pure audiophilic experience, very pleasant to ears and can listen for longer hours. 5. Options in connectivity (Aux, Optical, RCA, BT & Coaxial) 6. Premium build quality, dexterity of knobs (Best knobs ever!! [treble, bass, volume]) 7. Best for Man Caves, Personal Listening, Gaming setup, Small Groups Things to consider before you buy: 1. Difference in cable lengths of speakers (one is 5 feet other is 11 feet) 2. No protective layer for drivers, (its good as no interference, but then you need to careful) 3. Rudimentary wave guides, almost absent (non issue if your speaker placement is near to listener) 4. MidField/NearField [Not Omni-directional] speakers, you will hear it far better when placed moderately close to you AND directed towards you, not a room filler (can be used but then don't expect clarity [due to reflections]) 5. Damn heavy (its not meant to be carried too often) Those who are considering this, please be sure of what you want, there is no such answer as "Best Speaker" ever. It all boils down to your needs. I needed High Fidelity WITH dedicated sub and I am happy with what I got. If that is your use case I would suggest you go for it. If you don't want a sub go for studio monitors. I am attaching a sound sample recorded with phone (not a dedicated mic) to give some idea.

I have nothing bad to say with the speakers overall. But that stupid Remote is the worst thing i've ever seen. A round remote so you don't clearly see what way is forward on the remote and you have to point it directly AT the left speaker and if you've got the smallest of things blocking the way of the speaker and the remote signal it wont respond at all. So better make a clear path to the speaker and the remote, even putting something as small as a glass in the way will block the signal. Plus it could have better options on the remote aswell like adjusting Treble or Bass the only thing its able to change is inbetween Opt, COX, PC, Bluetooth or AUX.
