This trap is incredibly effective, quickly taking care of any rats or mice that venture inside. The design is robust and easy to set up, which is a huge plus when you’re dealing with a busy environment like a barn. I appreciate the electric mechanism—it works swiftly, ensuring that any rodent is dealt with efficiently. What I love most is that it’s reusable, making it not only cost-effective but also environmentally friendly. Cleaning it after use is straightforward, which saves me time and hassle.Overall, if you need a reliable rat trap for your barn, I highly recommend this trap. Don’t waste your time or money on this thing
This thing is a total waste of money. The food dish is too small putting in is difficult and it’s just an inferior piece of equipment that I had to return and not recommend it.

Best Trap I’ve Tried Yet
The media could not be loaded. I gotta say, this thing really works! Don't waste your money on cheap dinky traps from big name local store. We had mice running around in the attic and kitchen, and it was driving me crazy. My wife couldn't sleep cause of sounds during night time. Somehow they got in the walls. Once I set this up, it started catching them right away. The voltage is super strong, so it takes care of them instantly, no mess, no fuss. It's a solid build not some junky plastic. The setup was relatively easy but I had to read through the instructions. But once I got it, it was smooth sailing. The anti-escape design is genius! no chance for the mice to get out once they’re in.If you’re dealing with mice, this is 100% worth every penny. Just make sure you put it where they’re active, and it’ll do the rest. Definitely five stars from me!

Worthless. Save your money.
I bought two traps and set them both up in different areas of my attic for two nights. For two mornings now they've both been triggered, the bait was stolen, and the traps were both empty. No dead mice. First night I used new batteries, the second night I plugged them in. The power source doesn't matter, these traps don't work at all. Don't waste your money.

Instantly works
So i set it up and at first the rodent didn’t know which way to go in from. But eventually once it went in, boom-! Instant clean up. It’s great value for the money and catches the small mouse. I like it

Got them!
I placed some food in the tray and got the mouse just like that. I bought the sticky one and the clamp mouse trap but they always flip it then over and never works for me. This one is heavy enough so they won’t be able to flip it over and it works!

Where's the rat??
This dang thing was sitting near my computer desk. It was early morning (4:15am) I heard it snapped down. It zapped for about 2 minutes. I was sure I heard something flopped down, maybe the tail or something. I kept working for about another 20 minutes when I heard the rat squeal a bit and the zapper started again. After that second dose, I tried to check on it with my flashlight, but didn't see anything inside. I'm a bit disabled, can't bend down that low to check on it, so I waited for my nephew to wake up in the morning to crouch down and check for me. Were's the rat? Admittedly it's a small rat that's been running amuck around the house. So now I'm thinking this device wasn't meant to keep or kill a small rodent. I was hoping the shock would have at least killed it if that orange door couldn't hold it down.My other issue are the batteries. I bought a pack of AA batteries as suggested by the Amazon product page. Only to find that this trap uses 4 "C" batteries! So now I'm forced to wonder if the shock is more intense or not if I had this plugged in instead. If that's the case, then batteries should not be an option. I want this annoying pest fried, not simmered. My third and last issue (so far) is this product instructions said there will be a blue light and a beeping sound if the animal is caught. I doubt this simple device have AI tech to know the rat got away. But after it sent 2 rounds of shock, I assumed it would think it caught something. There was no blue light, and no beep or buzzer to let me know something's inside. If you're dealing with smaller rats, look elsewhere. Or find a trap with a door to trap them in if they survive the shock.
