I really love the functionality of this light. It's nice to be able to have something you can turn on and off from distance in a place you expect darkness to be so you aren't stumbling in the dark. The light is small and weighs enough to easily roll off of things if you bump it just right, so the magnet helps tremendously.It's very versatile, too. You can choose what light settings it runs, and even save presets. It's good for small, tight spaces and for decorating. They even sell decorative slings for it if that's your thing.Overall, I feel it is worth the price, even if you're looking for something slightly different. It's very customizable, comes with a metal plate so you can put it literally anywhere you need light. You can buy several and run them from the same app. There's even a charging strip you can buy which fits multiple to charge at the same time. They try to make it easy.

I have been collecting flashlights and general gadgets for nearly my entire life (45 years). This is the most amazing single small device I have ever experienced or owned. While not required for basic use, the App is incredible and provides tons of functionality, options, and modes.While it has the typical high quality Olight packaging, it did not impress me upon initial opening due to its simplicity and underwhelming presence. It just looks like a clear plastic racket ball.I connected the included magnetic charger and forgot about it for a while. Some time passed and I happened to see the green light indicating full charge as I walked by. Turned it on, and it was an okay simple white light. Then, I easily connected it to the App, and that’s when the party started.I truly believe this thing has some form of magic within it. The Stepless brightening and dimming feature alone is impressive, and then you get into the color wheel. I am not an artist or a scientist, but this little ball can literally change into every color on the entire spectrum. It is not a question of red, white or blue. It is which red? Which white? Which blue?Last but not least, you have the various “ambience” and animation / motion choices. You can simulate the aurora borealis if you want, or a nice sunset. I just had it screaming red at 90% brightness level for half an hour on my deck, and it wasn’t even warm to the touch when I picked it up to bring inside!After playing with it for an hour, I immediately ordered a second one. While the price is excellent, I wish I could afford to have 20 of these things.I can’t say enough about this product. Do yourself a favor and buy at least two!

Honestly I’ve been a big fan of o light tac lights for my long gun setups and pistols. They have always delivered a good product that’s very well made and performance wise it’s right there if not better than stream light. You pocket the difference and don’t end up over paying for quality work Onlight.. anywho that says a lot… in the world of firearms I trust o light tac light systems on my setups… they have always been great especially the odins and the Valkyrie 3 rechargeable… so I purchased another Valkyrie for a new Czech piece of steel I added to my collection and o light sent me the sphere with it as an Amazon deal… you know what ? This little light is freaking cool. It’s fun and can change the brightness of a variety of different colors and theme types of light. It’s really a nifty cool little smart light. It’s very small and charges on the usual o light chargers I am familiar with.. I put it on our coffee table and started playing with the colors and themes and brightness settings. Honestly I didn’t pay for this but even at the cost it’s worth it. I may even get more they’re that cool.. which reminds me I need to see what else o light makes. Def get it. Fun ambiance sphere light and it’s really surprisingly powerful for its size and the battery lasts. Another reason to like o light .. their wizard-esque sphere.
