Not a lot of reviews on this one but almost all are 5 star with very positive comments. I was looking for a simple and reliable air fryer that didn't smell like burning plastic (like so many others). Before this unit I tried an instant vortex pro. It worked fine but the plastic smell was terrible and didn't go away after several washings and 10 hours of running the unit empty or with vinegar and water in it. Couldn't stand the smell so I returned it.A couple of reviews said no or minimal odor from the cuisinart air fryer so I gave it a shot. Washed it and ran 2 dry cycles for an hour each and 2 wet cycles with water and vinegar for an hour. A little smell at first but not as bad as the vortex. After the last prep cycle the smell was almost gone. I cooked a test batch of potato slices with a bit of olive oil. They crisped up to a perfect golden brown top and bottom in 15 minutes on airfry setting without even shaking them. I could not tell the top from bottom. Impressive.After that no plastic smell and surprisingly only minimal cooking smell. It washed up easily and has been amazing for roasting veggies and reheating leftovers. The controls are simple and easy to use and look classy, not flashy. It's also very quiet, you can barely hear it from 10 feet away. No pre-heat for airfryer setting (there is for bake/roast) and the basket slides in and out easily. The light only stays on for 10 seconds at a time but that's fine. The glass is easy to see through, though be careful because water can get on it if you spray the underside of the basket. The glass front gets hot while cooking but it's an oven, what do you expect? The sides don't get too hot and the air coming from the vent in the back is warm but not hot.This is definitely the one to buy - a little more pricey but absolutely worth it.

I was resistant to getting an air fryer and researched them before deciding on my Cuisanart. I absolutely LOVE this air fryer. I use it to cook meals, not just nuggets and fries like many of the reviews and testers and have nothing negative to say about it. It is nice size, presets are very consistent, VERY quiet, easy to clean. and the window and light are very handy. The Left over feature provides much better quality than the microwave for pizza, wings, etc.

I recently purchased the Cuisinart Airfryer and I’m extremely happy with it. It’s super easy to use, practical, and very efficient. Plus, it doesn’t take up too much space, which is a big plus in my kitchen. Honestly, I have nothing bad to say about it — it does exactly what I need and more. I highly recommend it!

It works great and it's well made. I feel like there's way to much plastic though. I'd feel better if the slide tray & internal cooking compartment were metal.

I love this air fryer from Cuisinart. It is sooo nice. I bought it for myself. The air fryer is so amazing. I love the see through window and the light. The light doesnt stay on long. It is very easy to use and clean. I absolutely love the appearance, very contemporary. The air fryer is worth every bit of the cost. I am very very satisfied with the air fryer and it has a 3 year warranty. The sound is low and very soft. The front panel for operation is very nice and I love the manual with recipes that came with the air fryer. This is a very healthy cooking air fryer. It's beautiful!

Only a week old but so far so good. It is very quiet. What I like: interior light, crisper tray instead of basket makes cleaning a snap, viewing window, crispy bacon, not overdone (I like my bacon!) easy to use control panel.Very happy with purchase, I would recommend.

This air fryer does the job. I've had it over a year now, and it's held up great. I would say the price is well worth it, and it easily goes on sale, so better to wait around for that to get your money's worth. I usually heat up frozen items, and on air fry mode, it only takes about ten minutes for a meal. Example, chicken nuggets. They'll be perfectly crispy and hot through after 10 minutes. As for stickiness, I wouldn't say it's a problem. Naturally, it will get sticky if you don't take good care of your device. It's not a problem.Overall, after using this product for a year, I'd say it deserves 5 stars. It's held up great, it cooks in multiple modes and there's a great amount of space in the tray, and food comes out just the way I like it!
