MIPS Technology Is Well Worth Having
This helmet was mid priced compared to riding helmets out there. It has the MIPS tech which was new when I bought - and I have to say, I'm pretty sure that MIPS tech saved my life last year on a bad fall. Helmet was in one piece, no cracks and only damage was visor broke off. The color is great. Its a comfortable and breathable helmet that is adjustible. I'm going to get a second in a different color so I have a back up or can just switch out. Also, I can attach my go pro to it with not issues in fit.

Great look for rounder faces
I currently own the troxel spirit and it feels too bulky but is super comfortable. I wear a size Medium. Both helmets fit about the same . What I like about the intrepid is that it’s less bulky and fits my head better. I’d say this runs a lil smaller than the spirit style. I have a round face so the construction style of the spirit made me look weird. I wore it for comfort because my ovation was scratching my forehead with the poor fit of the liner and it was giving me headaches. I started wearing the troxel more and more. The spirit is good for a go pro . It’s round enough to balance it .I will not get rid of the spirit style for that reason. It’s fun to use the go pro . I have thick long hair and the intrepid doesn’t have the dial to catch my hair. I can’t wait to ride in it !

I replaced an older one, and this one has very nice padding. It fits perfectly and is very comfortable.

Fit
Very nice quality helmet. Returning because it does not fit a round head. There is no adjustability for side-to-side width. The less expensive Troxel Size Small fits this teenager, but the Medium Intrepid Indigo does not. It fit from front to back but would not go on over the sides of her head.

Lightweight, Comfortable Riding Helmet
This is a great Troxel helmet! I had older Troxel helmets years ago and wanted an updated version, so chose this model after reading about the different styles. The Intrepid is so nice and lightweight and very comfortable to wear. I measured my head as directed and chose the corresponding size on the chart, and the fit is perfect. I like the self adjusting band at the back of the neck on this style. Since I have not ridden in summer yet with this helmet, I cannot speak to how well it cools my head! I'm very happy with the looks, fit, and light weight of this helmet.

Fits nicely
